DWC Nirvana Lemon OG Haze auto 300watt LED

That's a wrap. Hopefully it will have a nice slow dry before going into the jar. Going to make a few changes for the next grow. I already have a bigger rez and I'm going to order a bigger light. All in all I enjoyed this grow even though I didn't get to much out of it. It was a nice simple first grow and I learned a lot. I can't wait to get back from vacation to start my next one. Thanks for looking everyone.

View attachment 3988805 Hey all,
I'm very excited to be posting my first Grow Journal. I germinated 1 Nirvana Lemon OG Haze auto in a Rapid Rooter on July 1st. She popped in less than 12 hours. After a few days in a humidity dome I put her in her permanent home, a 1.5gal DWC under a 300 watt LED in a 18"w x 13"d x 48"t grow box. I'm using the GH flora trio with Calimagic and Hydroguard. I made the rookie mistakes at first with too much nutrients. Also, the grow box holds a lot of heat and the air pump that came with the box was a joke so she wasn't getting enough oxygen to the roots which caused her to droop terribly. I remedied both problems with a stronger air pump and a makeshift a/c system using a styrofoam cooler, fan, ice packs, and a 4" vinyl duct run straight to the intake fan. I've wrapped pretty much 95% of the res in reflective tape and made every effort to stop light leaks. I've been monitoring PH and PPM like a hawk keeping PH between 5.5-6.5. This particular strain is very sensitive to nutes so this past Sunday I took them from 1/8th strength to 1/4 strength. I also dropped the light from 24" to 18". Today is day 33. She is growing like crazy in the preflower stage with lots of white pistils coming in. I started LST and light defoliation on 7/27. I've got 10 total bud sights and I'm trying my best to get as much light to all of them while keeping a flat canopy. I'm hoping to get some feedback and constructive criticism on what I can do better, this being my first grow I am far from an experienced grower. Thanks for looking!
What kind of box is that looks like the yield master max I just ordered from uniquehydroponics

It is but I don't recommend it for DWC. The box gets way too hot which is what stunted my growth early on because I couldn't get my res temps under control. If you do go with DWC make sure you get all your light leaks under control and run some sort of beneficial bacteria to stop root rot. I ordered a tent and a stronger exhaust fan to finish this grow and the yield machine max is now just a drying box :(.

Wish I was handy enough to make one :( well I'll stick it right in the front of the ac ....what was ur total dry weight how long does it take to arrive ...do u regret wasting 600 on it ?? Sorry for bunch of questions :)

I 100% regret the waste of money but live and learn. Look into the earlier part of the thread and you can see the little a/c unit I made for it that cost me like $30. I was seeing temps in the 90s some days. The room it was in was 68F. I made the mistake of leaving the fans on inside the box during the dry and it slightly over dried the buds but I pulled a half oz off of a 5in plant. I knew I wasn't going to get much but I was going to see it through till the end. This is my new set up. I'm still waiting on my Viparspectra par600 for the bigger tent. I'm going with 2 THC Bomb photos in coco in the big tent and 1 Blue Dream auto Roots Organic/Kind Soil organic grow in the small tent.

Nice man looks good ...sadly stealth this go around is a must and a tent in the middle of the room looks kinda weird :(. I wish man I'm getting my things set up this week I'll let u know how I do with the box gonna give it a good shot with autos c what we can do :/

I'm going to hide it behind one of those folding room partition things. Just keep a close eye on your temps. OH, upgrade your air pump. I'm sorry to say it, I hate bashing a product, but the air pump they send with it is nowhere near strong enough. I got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004LOWF7W/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With this tubing to stop light leaks because the tubing they give you is clear: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004LO9LA6/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks a lot man ....is it possible the led light screws with ur temp readings ?? I asked them that's what they claim idk if it's true or not also how long did it take to receive it ? Was it hard setting up

About a week and a half, not at all. I have a couple different hydrometers that all read the same and my TDS meter put the res temp in the mid to high seventies so I don't think the LED had anything to do with my res temp :-/

The light came like a day or 2 after. They advertise a timer but I never got one but I had one to spare so I never followed up.
lol they sent me nutrients before the light they said it would be here Friday so I germinated my seeds I don't see how they honestly send nutrients before my light but whatever I got my beans faster then this damn light

You could always go and grab a couple CFLs and a dual socket for your seedlings for the time being. They dress their website up so it's very appealing, but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Make sure you replace that air pump, the tubing, and tape off all the light leaks on that lid. It's going to get hot and any measure you can take will be in you benefit against root rot.
