It should also be calibrated weekly.
i've had great luck rinsing probe in white vinegar and storing in RO water. only had to calibrate twice in 4 plus years.

yes, but wouldn't you be doing the same thing with the calmag? it may be 50ppm as opposed to 200, but it would be measured separately from the other nutes correct?
i usually use the cal/mg at full stregth (4mL/gal for my brand) so i'm not too concerned with the ppm's it provides. but you are correct: all of what you put in the water will add up to a grand total. i add fulvic acid and it has 0 ppm so it doesn't affect ppm. but the cal/mg is like 1-0-0 and will add ppms.

you can measure at each step to see what each contributes:

measure your RO water, should be 0. add micros. then measure. add bloom. measure. add grow. measure. add cal/mg measure again. you'll see the pattern of how much each one adds.

The girls are looking much better today. I'm assuming the claws don't straighten up once they curl up. The color seems to be lighter as well and less glossy. Ppm meter will be here tmr then I can really see what my tap water is like. Snapchat-1196096237.jpg Snapchat-1196096237.jpg

Told you to wait a couple days. I almost lost a plant to root rot and waiting was painful but after a week or so it looked great.

Patience wid likkle i-dren :leaf: two words "seaweed solution" , empty rez, rince, use some 1/4-1/2 strength seaweed concentrate, make a solution, fill rez, wait (a week+) and see the roots recover & new ones develop.
When u c the results after 7+ days, u will probably wish to leave them in for longer. lush green foliage & an abundance of roots will follow. u can add a little more concentrate as the plants recover, but wait and see

also, folier sprey them with some cal/mag when you have safely removed them to a safe distance from the light, hot quartz glass is no fun when your covered in tiney burning shards of the stuff. thats if you need to give them cal/mag after the goodness of seaweed solution y will be surprised Rudi I&I Automan :weed:

Rudi I have a question about the seaweed. If I use that should I continue using the flora series as well. I picked up a tds meter and a ph meter. What should the tds be? Plants are doing ok but one is clearly darker than the other. New growth is showing a bit of curl now as well.
79°F and 40% humidity today.
412ppm.
5.8ph
1tsp of each micro grow and bloom plus 8ml hydroguard

I wouldn't like to add two many things to the res at once, I use the seaweed as a startup for seedlings and cuttings, (root soak (both) & folier feed for seedlings). although I have revived a sprout that got root burn and it recovered with amazing results in a small DWC (old 5ltr mayo tub with a small fish pump&airstone). i only used the solution at just under half strength too
So I would sugest using it as a week solution and only as a folier feed/supliment (once plants are removed from any explosive HID light quartz glass).
you should ask other hydro growers though, as I have little knollage about combining the 2 together. I was using gorilla grow/bloom/micro and burnt the roots of this poor baby and I was useing them at the recomended strength (stupidly), I should have gone with my gut feelings & only used @ half strength. but you live & learn. fortunatly they were only bag seed.

but those leaves look verry shiney and brittle, but the roots look healthy and the new growth looks verry good, nice lush green and non shiney, looks like a resilliant strain so you should leave well alone for the time being and just top up with str8 water (ph'd) & leave adding more food untill they show signs of needing it.......LESS IS MORE..you can allways add more food, but trying to recover a plant thats been overfed can set you back up to the best part of a month............lookin good :weed: Rudi

Why no folier spraying or feeding of cal/mag or nutrients. heres a link from a quick search of rollitup a great site about growing ganjah :weed: . Done properly, folier feeding can adjust nute deficientcees & you can keep the feed in your rez tank to a minimum and not burn your plants.

these two popped the day before and the day after xmas under a 50w coolwhite led floodlight
