Hello Fellow RIO member,
Im going to keep this short and to the point.. More info below If need, Pics below as well.
I'm going to follow flora series,
But I dont feel like my baby's are ready for it yet.

QUESTIONS:

  1. [*=center]What stage do they look in Seedings, Week 1? week 2? The 16th was when the rooted clones transolanted in the DWC
[*=center]Do they look strong enough to do go in to week 2 900-1100 ( I feel that's to much maybe 300-500 'FUll Seeding')
[*=center]Is it possible to to just add more basic nutis to get to the right ppm or should i redo the how 20 gallons.

Any help would be amazing, I believe im going move up to 300-500ppm by 2.5ML per gallon GROW/MICRO/BLOOM and 2.5 Rapid Start.
I Feel like they are going slow but that might be bc they had a hard cloning cycle.

What would you guy say theirs are seedings or what??
Here is there background
12/30/12
They were cut from the mothers, 45 angle cuts, then cut up the middle stem, put in rooting gel and in to my aero-clonner
5.8ph water and 1 tsp of Rapid Start 2.5 gallon water
1/4/13
I replaced the water 2.5gallon ph 5.8 1tsp rapid start
1/9/13
my clones had about 2-3 inch roots and i transplanted them to my 20gallon dwc system.
the clones had a hard time cloning they didnt look very happy.
Dwc has 1 FloraMicro, 1 tsp FloraBloom, 1tsp FloraGrow that 1/4 seeding strength
(no Rapid Start) im restarted
1/14/13
I remember that i didn't put Rapid Start in my 2o gallon dwc system and the ppm where at 180 where they started at 120 on the 9th.
any way I put 1 FloraMicro, 1 tsp FloraBloom, 1tsp FloraGrow. Thats 1/4 seeding strength
4tsp rapid grow (1tsp per 5 gallon)
(Left) CINDY

(Right) Strawberry Diesel

Right DWC.jpgRightDWCRoot.jpg-
1/19/13
I have been making sure that the ph is 5.8-6.0 range and my ppm around 150 ppm.
as you can 2 of the 3 have started to get very nice green leave starting and good roots.
where 1(left) no real new leaves have started but the root my much more.

Like I said. Before. They had a hard time in the cloner. They started to turn yellow and stuff. Probly bc I never check the ph in the clone beside when I made the Rez :p. so their coming out of recovery I Belive.
Can anyone confirm ?

that's exactly the problem, I had some clones last year and had to be out of town for a week on business and got back late, checked'em the next morning and they looked like your problem child there and the ph was 7.6 and way to warm, so it basically shut down the nute balance and cooked it.

One other thing, it's been my experience larger cuttings make better clones then tiny ones and yours looked pretty darn small. I've had better luck with clones that are at least 8" long with a couple of sets of leaves below the tip.

Ph is a NON factor in a cloner. Ph affects nute uptake via the roots, if no roots then no nutes then no Ph needed.

Veg them for at least another 2 weeks to make them root more and for the stems to thicken and strenghen

How is it a NON factor ???? As soon as the plant roots you want it to take in anything it needs, they can do that better when ph is in check.
PH affects nute uptake, in a cloner there should be no nutes because they have no roots. When they grow roots they move to veg where they get nutes and ph adjustments.

I take the extra time to make sure ph is perfect, I give my plants perfect treatment. A your saying everyone is sitting right there watching for the first root to pop and as soon as it does they pull it and put it in veg......bs I bet most let them sit a couple hours maybe days
