DWC question

Hey guys, im looking to start my first grow in the new year and i've just been doing some research on the forums. Most of my questions have been answered by the super helpful existing posts, so thanks for those. One thing i'm having trouble finding is information on whether or not you would continue to water the plants in a DWC system? or do the submerged roots suck up all the water the plant needs? do i have to water it before the roots have grown far enough to get into the water? and should i still mist the plants during this process? I'm just looking for maybe the most basic information on these DWC systems so I can start to wrap my head around it some more.

Thanks for your help,

Once roots are well into the water you need to do nothing. Until then it needs to be watered. Options include drips from above, drips from below (pump and feeder tubes) manual watering and the method described in the link below. Whether you mist really depends on humidity.

Excellent, thanks for the info and for the link man. Have you written any more helpful DWC threads out there I should know about?
