i don't see how adding a ripener (thats what its listed under) the last 3 weeks of flower is a bad idea. plenty of people use that or a similar recipe and r throwing out super dank flowers. to me what the op listed as his recipe is super perfect plant diet to throw out super dank. just my opinion.

I promise his recipe will produce yellow plants and tiny flowers by harvest. Just my experience ;).

Tiny flowers??? thats not true at all. starting to yellow at the end of harvest I've seen that for sure. if u think people r getting tiny flowers for using cool bloom your lying to your self big time. look i know u know a lot of shit, but your just blinded by your own ambition on this one.

Tiny as compared to what one could have produced had they supplied more N and less P than his recipe provides. You said yourself you've seen yellow plants by harvest, that means you could have done a better job maintaining plant health which would subsequently produce more mass. It's not a hard concept to understand; healthy plants at harvest yield the BEST. Yellow plants at any stage is not a good sign.

i stated, starting to yellow at the end of harvest. maybe u have never had this happen to u. if u think people r not finishing awesome plants while using high p (finishers), your lying to yourself again. i really respect what u do for this community, but it sounds like u have never used a kool bloom or a shooting powder before. it would be nice to see u do this in one of your side by side Vs threads.

I used Kool Bloom w Dyna Gro in hydro...just b/c I had some left.

Waste of time and money...Protect, gro and just a little bloom during flower is all I use. It's all you need.

I've used plenty-a-booster in my day and I'm telling you, a base nutrient intended for the 'bloom' side already has PLENTY of phosphorus.

Want to hear my theory on 'high P finishers'? Well, I'm going to tell you anyways;). Those finishing products always supply lots of P and K with pretty much zero N. Those products in combination with high P bloom formulas slowly kill your plants and when it comes time to chop, harvesting a dying plant is better than harvesting a dead one. Essentially those products make your plant *look* ripe (yellow leaves, leaf drop, foxtailing seed bracts) but in reality the plant is wicked stressed and on a downward slide towards death.

Ive Used Kool Bloom With Soul Synthetics & Advanced With Amazing Results ... Just Never Tried DynaGrow in General . And Yellowing of Leaves at Harvest Is Normal As the plant draws stored energy , nutes & carbs from them lol

& My Nugs Are Far From Tiny . lmao ill Build a Grow Journal Soon on here as proof im not some newb lol i worked in the california & colorado medical marijuana scene & been growing pot for 14 years

Question. I really don't want to start a thread. I'm troubled by purple stems and petioles . Can I use some straight kool bloom to fix this ASAP or I'm I better off to use a flowering base nute ? Flora Nova Bloom .

The extra P is a total waste, the plants cant use it, and it causes several issues related to PH and inhibiting uptake of other nutrients like N, Fe, and Mn.

I would look for a booster with little to no P and good amount of K. or even just double the amount of protekt ur putting in. your Ph go up so ull have to adjust.
