I object to the death penalty. The government proves their ineptitude daily. The government certainly should not have the power to execute anybody.
Tsarniev is plainly guilty, that was never even contested. If the decision were mine to make, he would spend the rest of his life in prison. That seems fair and just. I can certainly empathize with people who lost a loved one and want the death penalty, though.
