E Shine LED Grow Lights, any opinions?

I have a Advanced Platinum P600 (600w) and have been very happy with it (1 year now). The light footprint is 2X4 and it produces buds with the diameter of baseballs and potent. 5 year warranty but I decided I needed another light just in case so I don't loose a crop via a dead light.

that said I just built a Cree cxa3070, 3000k (8 cobs) and thus far the girls seem to like it but of course the proof is in the final product, 80 more days or so...

I'm pretty sure Advanced isn't equal to eShine. I'm not a fan of Advanced. I think there are better values out there. But, I don't think they're like Kind, Lush, HydroGrowLED, GrowBlu (rebranded epi-whatever lights sold at a huge markup). I thought Advanced used Cree.

Eshine's address appears to be China (if I'm looking at the right web page.). Advanced LED is in Arkansas.

Maybe more info @Danimalcookies could straight that out.

Advanced brings them in from China, then pretends they are different in order to get full retail for them. (No one wants to pay retail for a chinese light). Youtube Platinum vs eshine. They order one of each, open them up and show you they are exactly identical. They go by Platinum led, Advanced Platinum, Eshine, Platinum Grow, and many other names as people import them and rebrand them with their own name. Im sure they work just fine and will grow bud. But I'd buy the Eshine at less than half the price first for the same exact thing.
And alot of these chinese lights claim to use Cree leds, and they do, but just one or two chips, then the rest are Cheap Chinese junk.

They go by Platinum led, Advanced Platinum,
I see what's going on. I don't believe Platinum is the Advanced LED I thought you were talking about.

You're right, Advanced Platinum is like the other cheap import LEDs. But, worse, they are an obvious name-ripoff of Advanced LED which has a fairly good reputation. I.e., they're not the overpriced Kind, Lush nonsense.

The P600 draws 345 watts. Of that, probably only 300 is actual LED usage. Efficiency is most likely 25%, maybe 30% if they are really being driven @ 50%. Not sure how many watts you are putting across your CXAs, but I can pretty much guarantee they will out-produce in both quality and quantity that shitty P600.

Yeah, i just looked that up. Very similiar name. I did notice on the Advanced led site that they dont say their products are made in the Usa, it does say the 5 watt diodes are made in the USA, but doesn't actually say where the units are assembled. So i can only assume its China. Lol. Only good led ive found (and used) is the Stealth Grow SG602. The $2500 Lighthouse Hydro was garbage, waste of money. Worse than some of the cheaper crap out there. And of course diy rocks. Thats what im moving on to. I have one unit built already, and waiting on more parts to arrive to build more.

Yes, I completely dislike Advanced Platinum. I haven't looked at them for awhile (even forgot they exist, been away for few months). When I looked at them months ago they used Advanced LED's product photos. It was an obvious name-ripoff and attempt to confuse the consumer.

I don't care if people buy Mars Hydro and other cheap, inefficient stuff. But, nobody should patronize Advanced Platinum simply due to its extremely bad ethics. Look at this discussion. I thought you were talking about Advanced LED -- when I know the difference. Imagine how many people are getting a bad opinion of Advanced LED just because they don't realize Platinum is unrelated?

That's antithetical to everything about 420. There should be no room for Platinum in anyone's grow room.
