day 14

had to move her down a bit away from the light, one of the leaves was curling up a bit - looks like heat stress

also gave her a feed of seasol + powerfeed at about a 1/4 strength. really pleased with the way things are going so far

gave her and the soil a good feed today. got some worm castings from the worm farm and some blood and bone and mixed it into the top layer of soil. then gave them a good watering with some molasses mixed in the water.

responded really well to yesterdays feeding. she is handling the heat really well - not sure how hot it is in the box, but the last few days have been around 30C (86F) and tomorrow's forecast is 35C (95F). the smell is getting a little stronger every time i open the door of the box, still just a sweet vegetative smell, nothing dank. hoping she shows her first hairs in the next week or so.

Looks good man. Keep it up. You should get yourself some mylar in there. It really helps when using CFLs. Can't get any locally? Look inside a bag of chips/crisps. :D
Keep it green. Peace.

thanks for following. shame you cant get any organics where you are. just having a worm farm gives you an awesome way to get rid of your food scraps and also supplies you with two great fertilizers.

well it got up to 38C (100F) today and she took it like a trooper, no signs of heat stress or anything.
not only that, but in the third picture you will see the first hair and a half poking up. from what i've read this is about right on track for the easyryder.
got 4 x 105w 2700k cfl's being delivered, should be here in the next 2 weeks, just in time to give it full power for flowering.

go to the dollar store they sell emergency blankets and you can use that since it is a small space should be able to put up in minutes

gave her a healthy slurp of worm tea and molasses in spring water. a couple of worms got stuck in the worm tea so they ended up in the pot. hopefully they like it in there.
