Ebay fan/filter combos

im lookin at the htg supply one, the one that says it has a vortex fan (doent look like on though), the one with the green hydrofarm fan, and the other one with the cover on it. I will be using this in my stealth dresser, i have only used computer fans before so i would really like some input. Thanks.

Heard they work good, but a carbon filter is the last thing you want to go cheap on

i bought one on ebay just about 3 months ago...its a 4 inch inline with a carbon filter 190cfm and i believe it was around 190 with deliv to canada. Now they said it would be discreet but the carbon filter was clearly labelled "CARBON FILTER" but the fan was not labelled. BUT the delivery driver chuckled and made comments "good luck with your stuff" and a sly look. Now he was a stoner driver and knew and maybe not everyone would no but basically any stoner could figure it out. And i was hit with an extra 13 dollar charge for duty he never said, that kinda rattled me that he hid that fact. But the product does work perfectly-you just have to vent the air properly to control sound.Im gonna look at your link and others to find it for ya.

and another thing if you plan on havin a carbon filter and fan like any of the ones your looking at then i dont think you will be able to use it in a dresser,they take up a bit of room and you need to hang them to eliminate vibration and its a lot of vibration if you install it directly or even with rubber to your box....i hang mine with bungee cord and you cant feel it at all and cant hear the air outside of my bedroom-but its vented decently.

I got one too an htg inline 4" For the most part im happy with it. I think the carbon filter may be a little scrimp. I could smell hints of herb here and there but i was venting in to my house to save on the heating bill. vented outside it works good, not sure how long the filter lasts. My guess is not long and your really paying for the fan. Filter seems a little weak.

I am pretty happy with my 6 inch htg model. I also bought a foothill filter 4 inch fan combo and that thing sucks the big one. It is a joke. Just a tune packed with charcoal and a computer fan. I hear that can filter is better than htg. I would spend the extra as I had some complaints. Bghydro looks like theirs is better than htg due to bedding of charcoal size. It is bigger.

Ya i never got the htg because they dont ship to canada so fuck them. And I have also heard Can-Filter is the best shit, they are the original and usually are at grow shops.
