I'm getting a 600watt HID mh/hps lighting system to along with my 400 watt system. I got a good size room but looking for some good homemade tables for a 5'x5' area. I saw someone on here make some nice looking tables for his set-up. I cant find that damn thread i'd like to know the parts used. Looked like just some 2"x4" s and 2"x8" , plywood and some plastic to cover the top. I kinda have a good idea of how to make the table but a little lost on the what material is used to line the table.

https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/22115-diy-flood-drain-table.html I think I know what you are talking about. I don't recommend doing this unless you can't find a ready made one to fit your needs.
The plastic material is pond liner, bought at home depot, because I could make (3) tables from (1) 4'x15' piece. Other stores may have a size that fits your space better for less than the $55.00 I spent for that. Some of the big box stores may even have some pond kits left from last year on Clearance, I saw some in the fall. Most of them have pumps already in them. VV:blsmoke:

yes thats exactly what I was looking for. I also thinking of just getting some bigger rubbermaid totes and maybe doing like 4-6 totes with 3 res. 1 res for 2 totes. Maybe try different nutes in each, do separate test to find what works best for me, but thats just one of many ideas that run through my head when I think about growing my 2nd crop. I'm not to sure just trying to get a lot of ideas before I starting throwing money down for a bigger system.

If I were starting this again I might consider buying just the table top from a hydro shop and build a frame for it out of 1 1/2" pvc. Filthy Fletch has one he built like that and some one posted a ready made system that was built out of that. A 4' by 4' table would fit nicely in a 5'x5' room. You are right to do the research first.
