i just finished my first grow...i used a "Ebb and Grow" system by CAPS in southern california...i just moved here and bought the system after i moved...i loved it...i got really nice bud from it...used a 600 watt HPS Hortilux with it also...the reservoir holds 55 gal and it comes standard with 12- 2 gal buckets and is expandable...i am giving a fill and drain system a try now to see how it does...

Ive seen a few videos on hydro and they usually use rockwool for veg and some sort of potting pelet for flower. If i was to use a normal hydro system (not Ebb and Flo) would i still be able to use the pelets in the system or do i have to use the Ebb and Flo type?
(The system i am refereing to is the one the green man uses for vegging in his video...don't know the real name for it but heres a link (YouTube - How to Grow Green) )

granted this was my first grow and there are hundreds of ways of growing marijuana and most will work...my plants i had bought came as clones and in rockwol already...i planted those into pots with clay hydroton pebbles in them and ran my ebb and flow system...it has a brain and does all the work for me...i just keep my resovoir with water and nutrients and i got great bud from it...

Hey Joe Kush, how much did you yield with that system, I've been looking at getting a hydro system but I cant seem to find out which systems give the best yields and what amount I'm looking at off of them. Thanks for any help you can give me

:joint: Hi Bud
I don't think its what system you use,but how you do it.Lights water nutrs and air temp all come into play.some systems are less maintains then others and some are more hands on.The life cycle of the plant dictates what to do and when to do it.If all of the plants requirements are 100% made in each cycle of the grow,Than its bud bud bud ding ding ding I got alot of bud.:mrgreen:peace
