Ebb & Flow TO Drip

Well, I've had my hydro setup for about 3 months. A Botanicare Microgarden Ebb & Flow system. It came with a 12X24 Tray with 2 holes for Ebb & Flow, 13mm tun outlet and screen, and a 19mm tub outlet, 2 extensions, and screen, vinyl tubing pump feed (6 3/4" X 1/2")...

Any way, I wanted to see how hard it'd be to convert it into drip... My plant is in a soil less mix of perlite, peat, and vermiculite. The 3 gal. pot is tall, so I wanted a more efficient way of feeding her.

Off to the store we go.

3 stores later... I got:

zip ties 200ct., 2 pair pruning scissors and shears, 6" air stone, 6 quart tupperware (for wick cloner. the other 2 I had used are 6 qts. also), 70% alcohol, plastic coated paper clips, 2-way plastic gang valve, 0-4 gph drip emitters, 8' standard airline tubing, 4 way drip 'station'(?)... blah blah blah

(AKA all kinds O' stuff)

It was SURPRISINGLY simple to do, and I feel as if I actually achieved something.

Now where my E&F would pump OUT of, I unscrewed this fitting. Then screwed my 4-way station in. Took roughly 2 ft. of airline tubing and attached the tubing to each emitter on the 4-way station.I then attached one of my 0-4 gph drip emitters on the end of each airline. I used the paperclips as stakes and opened the drips full drip.

Got them situated around the main stem in a box-fashion.

I just hope, and know, that this will deliver my nutrients better to the root ball.

My next grow I'll be using straight hydroton....

Thanks for checkin this out!!:hump::hump::mrgreen:
