Ebb & Flow vs Recirculating DWC

Hey Friends. Been running ebb & flow tables for a few years.

But then i started obsessing over Heath's flooded tube vert.

Right now, I'm running a 2x4 flood table ith a hooded hps over it, but i'm also playing with a vertical lit ebb & flow on the side (pictures attached.)

Basically, I'm wondering if any of you have input on growing with Ebb & flow vs a recirculating DWC. I would be flowering plants by 8" tall, running anywhere from 6 to 36 plants at a time.

I'm actually going to experiment with this in a couple days, going to germinate some lettuce seeds in rockwool, and then put like 4 in an ebb, and 4 in a recirculating DWC. They will share a reservoir and both be outside (its 75 degrees in CA)

Open to your input. Prefer it from people with experience and not just speculation, but it is what it is.
