Electricity problem

i will be running a 160 watt flourescent light and proabably a fan or two and an ionic breeze. If i am lliving in california and am running an 18-6 approximatly how much will my electric bill go up?

Depends..Where ya live..What kinda area ya in..Lots of things..Call your company n ask some questions on how to save some money.They will give you some tips..But my 400mh is like $17-25 + fans n stuff extra.

160watts x 18hr= 2880 watt hour per day, your utility bill will have what you pay per kwh. 1 kilowatt =1000watts, so your using 86.4kwh per month based upon 30 days. If your kwh is .14 per kwh x 86= $12 per month for lighting. Your fan has a amp draw and we can calculate that also, just tell me your amps of each device, its on the name plate

o ok thanks i don't think anyone will notice a small spike in the bill, especially because my bill is high already

look up pge.com and they have these little graphs that will show you peak hours and all kinds of important shit, plus the cost
