end of SUTTER ISLAND spoiler alert!dont look if you havent seen the movie.

okay so i have watched this movie like 3 times whenever someone comes over i make them watch it.

well at the end of the movie he regresses agin OR DOES HE?
at the end he goes back to thinking he is the teddy dude but he says to the doc "which would be worse to live as a monster or to die as a good man"then gets up and walks to the doctors to get the lobotomy.

me an my bro have been arguing i think he just wanted to get the lobotomy.

well either way the movie is badass it freaks your mind.

I agree it was a good movie and the same thing went through my mind. maybe he wanted to become labotomized maybe he was just totally fucking insane. either way good movie. could have been a little scarier with some more jumpy freaky scenes.

i have a really decent TS its on demonoid. i usually wait for a better rip but this movie is more of a storyline so its okay to watch a half decent rip.

Dude, I dont even know what to think about the end of the movie. Ive got all these ideas of what could be.

My friend thought that he was sane and the doc was just an undercover marshal letting him get the lobotany to uncover the island

I think he realized he was fine but the marshal guy, his partner, was a doc and Leo pretended to relapse to either uncover it or something.. im not sure what though

ya dude, i just downloaded a dvd copy.. sound is a bit off but still really good. thepiratebay.org under top 100 movies.. I dont think he regressed though.. I think he wanted to be labotomized..

I think he was sane and wanted to get labotomizes instead of living like a monster..Why else would his visions only be of the daughter and not all three kids..just my two cents
