I just heard about Epsom salt after I bought some CaMg+ for my calmg problem. My question is what does Epsom salt do and is it better then CaMg+? I'm doing a soil grow.

Epsom salt can correct ca/mg deficiencies. And no because most calmag solutions premade contain molasses.

nahh just use your Ca/Mg

Epsom salt (also called English salt) is magnesium suphate and dont have much calium (use Lime)

but help the plant with both Magnesium and sulphate, I use it in Veg (I use black strap molasses in flowering to provide about the same)

1-2 Ts. in a cup of boiling water then added to my water can (2 gallon) a few times doing Veg

Exactly correct adding epsom salt would make things worse. You need to add a calmag product or lime.
