Estimate for 10+ pounds?

So me and a few friends plan on shooting for 10+ pounds next year. We are still working everything out but space should not be a problem and they should get sunlight all day. So what would be a good amount of seeds to have? We're not sure what strains yet and we plan on cloning a bunch too.

set yourself a crazy goal one 10 pound plant hahaha size em up before you put them out start em early jan/feb and you will be on the right track 10+ is easy if your talking multiple plants ive seen 2 pounders in 30 gal pots but I would have them 100 gal at least or in the ground and it takes skills plus choose genetics wisely research and get the right strain you want one made for outdoors pest/disease resistant and a heavy yielder I recommend blue dream shes a heavy yielder can take human errors and comes out superb bud

start em inside", in jan/feb im stoned lol n make sure to not put them out to early you don't want it flowering early it does slow down the veg time cause it has to revert back to veg state dealin with that right now

You have a numerical goal in mind - that's a great start. now that quantity has been established, consider quality. this might help guide you to your decision; do you want 10 different flavors - 10 1 pounders, or 20 - 20 half pounders, etc? the more flavors you have, the smaller your containers can be. smaller plants are easier and more manageable. I can't give you a specific number of seeds or clones to have but a good idea would be to have two to three times as many as you plan on finishing so that you can make selections of the strongest plants.
