Ethos "Cookies".......limited edition

The seed pack description.........and each pack arrived with an extra 6 seed vial of Lemon OGHaze X Cookies #16, an unreleased Ethos strain for a future grow. I'll start posting in earnest in another week when I have something interesting to report. By the way, it's a brand new stain, and I haven't been able to find another grow of it anywhere on the net. But Ethos Mandarin Cookies is one of their best, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Hey Diggs........LOL. I just finished an Obsoul33t grow of" Wifi X AlienDog Cherry" which turned out nice and after this Ethos grow I'll be doing Archive Seed's "Light Speed"- what I like best about Ethos is they breed for weight, which is important to me. So I ran Ethos exclusive for almost 2 years, now I'm just keeping an open mind and taking it grow by grow. Thanks for checking in.
So, as with all my grows- 24 plants in 5 gallon pots although I often do 4 gallon too. These are new pots, a little sturdier than my old cheap ones. Each 3.8 cu. ft. pro-mix bale has about 1.5 cu. ft. perlite and 3+ cups dolomitic lime added- and nothing else. Plain pH'd water with 5 ml cal/mag added the first week or so. Today is day 6 since popping thru the soil, they are all around 2-3 inches high and doing well.

Well, some people care about WHO they buy their seeds from- and they can choose to buy Ethos or not. Personally he's reminding me more and more like Arjan (Green House Seeds) and his promotion skills vs. quality beans. A lot over the last few years has been posted about Colin- I was just adding to that conversation. But to be specific, my most important thing is yield- and Ethos's stuff is nearly always high yielding. Some strains are unstable and produce pollen, almost none of the strains hit the posted THC numbers, and they can be expensive for what you get- but they are generally fresh and I have 99% germination, I know where to buy them to get the best discounts price wise, I often get some interesting Ethos freebies, and mostly have great bag appeal. Almost everyone of the below strains has a grow thread, either here or at THCFarmer if you want to do some homework. I've only included strains I've grown 20 or more plants- there are a number of others where I grew 1-4 plants and it's not really fair to give an opinion on just a few plants.
So far I've grown:

2. Zsweet Inzanity
3. Apex
4. 10th Planet
5. GG #4
6. Planet of the Grapes
7. Chem OG
8. There is one more, but I can't seem to think of it right now
The Zsweet Inzanity was the best strain, Chem OG was a close second. Member Berry and Apez were a waste of time.

Well, day 27 today and I'm worried about these getting too tall in flowering. They are already a bit taller than most of the other strains I've done at this point so they'll be flipped tonight. Then in the next few days I'll stake every main stalk and go from there. No smell yet, Cal/Mag has been increased and I've increased the wattage to 2200 watts in the room. I'll also give them a thorough spritzing of PureCrop1 tonight which increases the plants natural defenses to heat, bugs, etc. I love these winter grows as it keeps the room temps very manageable too.
Well, I think I fucked up. I was going thru my seeds and noticed I MAY have 6 Lemon OG Haze X Cookies Ethos freebies growing. I'm not entirely sure, but it appears I still have a vial of "Cookies" left. So, I'm thinking 18 Cookies and 6 LOGH X Cookies growing at this point. I'll know for sure as they grow, as I expect anything with Haze in it to be the tallest and longest flowering of the group.
