evaporative cooling

I want to build an aero cloner but my climate is far too warm. My temps range up to 85f during the summer. I was thinking I could build in a fan to blow over the surface of the res for cooling. We use these setups for marine tanks, and it works ok. Has anyone tried this? I'm not gonna buy a chiller for a 5 clone station.

Is there any temp variation between straight hydro like dwc and aero? I would imagine that water sprayed through the air would cool a little bit because of the amount of surface being exposed to air while being sprayed. Anyone have any experience with aero in warmer climates?

For just cloning, you shouldn't have a problem, since it takes at most a couple of weeks. For growing in an aero system for 3 months, you need to deal with the heat.
