Ever heard of this...

I'm a first time grower. I used to have my plants growing under Two 120W ecolight (made for growing plants with blue coating). After reading up on lights i changed to CFL's when my plants were 14in. Over night my plants got droopy, yellow leaves, and the stems turned purple. I transplated into bigger pots and it still looked real bad. So i put the old ecolights back in and over night they look good again and one is a flowering female already. I thought it was weird that the lights made a difference.

Odd, usually those lights don't work being the wrong color spectrum and all, but if they are happier under them (if it ain't broke...) then leave them there. weird, though, one of those 'area 51' things I guess

Since i am now flowering i may add one of the cfl's to the other two lights.
