t5's are great for veg, they provide plenty of light and you can get single sunblaze t5 setups for 30 bucks. or u can get the 4-8 bulb.

T5's all the way they work so well. Your plants will be short and bushy and can even touch the light without being burned. Then i use them to light the sides of the plant. works so well.

Well you can use one light bulb. But your not going to get much. You know? How many watts is it? Is it high output? I use a sea of cfls t5's and a hps it works well but I have used just t5's and got decent results using two.

I have a friend who uses T5 during veg and he gets nice bushy plants. I have a 250w MH and mine always look like tall, skinny trees. I'm switching to T5s because of that.

Alright well, That's not a lot of light. Use them both. Then hit up home depot or get a hid. Craigslist seems to have a few used ones. Do you know there color temp?

Nope look up the model number on the light type it in on Google. It will say something like 2700k or 6500k. Your going to need some more light if you want to get a decent yield. there going to be shorter than your outdoor plants. The great thing about indoor is you can control every variable.

Those would be good for flowering but thats only putting out the same amount of light as a 100 watt light bulb [typical lamp] You can get started with those but definitely add some light add me I will be more then happy to help you out if I can.
