i herd if you put sugar in water and spray it on the plant when its flowering that it will swell the buds up like crazy. any know if its true?

it will make it have a very harsh taste!! i think he ment molasses (that comes form sugar the left overs from making it)

we use molasses does same thing carbohydrate also use asucrose some kind of bakeing sugar good growing to you

molasses is the way to go, I talked to old dude and starts em on molasses the day he throws 12/12, I tried it on my rhinos and in 2-3 days they swoled up. I'll use it from now on when flowering. Get the organic molasses at a whole food store, works great. bongsmilie

I wouldn't be spraying any sweet, sticky shit on my leaves . . . you can add sugars/molasses to your later waterings IF you are in SOIL. I've read it's a real mess with hydro and should never be added to reservoir.

Yeah definately soil, i use about 2 tbls per gallon every other watering, i wouldnt foliar spray em with molasses though.
