everyonedoesit - ehle

For anyone considering everyonedoesit for a higher end pipe, this is what happened to me.

1. I ordered about $300 worth of 'art' including an ehle water pipe, pre-cooler, carbon adapter, diffuser etc.

2. The entire order MINUS the pipe itself was delivered ok, but the pipe was on backorder for 2 weeks.

3. They sent me another tracking number 2 weeks later for my pipe.

4. It tracked to my local post office, and stopped there. No 'we confiscated your shipment', no 'we shipped it back to the sender' NOTHING, the track simply stopped there.

5. I am in the process of emailing back and forth with everyondoesit.com I asked if it was sent stealthily and safely, and they responded 'of course' I asked what I can do about it. They sent back a message saying the order showed it was delivered already. I explained that was the original order, and the backordered item is still missing. (I swear I'm dealing with a bunch of incomprehensive pot smokers (at their workplace) :)

So that's where it sits. Over a month after I placed my order, the $160 pipe missing, and no customer service (so far, I'll update if they are able to find out what actually happened, and get it reshiped.

I went to a local store, of which there's at least 10 within 70 miles of me selling the exact same type of 'illicit' products IN STORE, and got a very expensive, crappy product in the meantime. i.e. overpriced, non-iladelph, non-roor, non-ehle glass.

So, no notification, no nothing. A certified mail package that requires signature just disappears. The law will be showing up at my doorstep or some local post office employee is enjoying my hard earned money ?

That sucks, but whatchagonnado maybe it's better to split big orders up, but then the shipping is more expensive.

I ordered from them, and it was out of stock, so I changed the order after becoming impatient. Attitude is better and worth the extra dough IMHO

That's BULLSHIT. If they can't prove that you received it by producing your signature - then they need to resend. That's the whole point of registered mail - so the sender has prooof that the recipient was handed and signed for the package.

If it was a piece of "art" - then you shouldn't have a problem following up with the post office. Your mail is not supposed to just disappear?? Did you put it on a credit card? If so then you should dispute the charge. Just because you're buying something...a piece of art...that may or not be used as a pipe....and even then, who is to say what exactly you planned to smoke in that pipe?

Fuck that. I'd start demanding to know what happened to my package!

Good Luck

Agree completely, utter bullshit. I was pissed.

The good news is that, guess what, it mysteriously suddenly showed up in my mailbox after sitting for weeks at my local post office. No note, no explanation, just suddenly showed up, which is GREAT.

The shitty part is that now I spent another $150 on a local piece of art, that I didn't need to spend. BAH. I wish I could sell it.

That's just your typical government efficiency. I sent my sister a package recently via priority mail that took 6+ weeks to travel <1000 miles.

Give ya $10 for it. ;-)
