I was feeling anxious and checking in on things, and decided to get a few shots of the right side of the flower tent. Today is Day 10 of flower for this side of the tent............................

I'm really excited about the 2 Satori Crosses as they're the firs two girls of each strain and my second and third crosses ever

@Evil-Mobo just found your thread, was interested in the Dark Plasma (stink like mad I found out lol), but dam you got a lot of strains and other plants on the go very interesting, lots of reading. Will follow along if you don't mind.

Definitely friend I'll drop by your thread later tonight thanks for for the link. And yes the DP is stinky she can get purple on you and the meds are fantastic. I will be keeping mine around for sure. She will be my first mum in almost two years of growing lol........

Some random shots from tonight. Watered and fed everyone and topped off the cloner. Also got a little side project of seeds into rockwool cubes let's see what happens. Sprayed the veg tent down with Method 1 pps again. The plants in the veg tent really seem to like the mixed COB setup, will be interesting to see how things progress with this. Got some goodies on the way for the end of the week, if all goes well there will be a new change in one of the tents soon. Fingers crossed so excited :bigjoint:

Well I guess it's time for an update as it's been a few days. I suffered an injury a few days ago and have multiple fractures in my right shoulder and bruised ribs on the right side and a sprained right pectoral muscle. The doc says 5 to 6 weeks minimum for this to heal and that the pain will be the same throughout. With the help of my brother I'm going to try to stay on top of the grow and not lose this crop. Today we watered and fed all the girls and I topped off the cloner. The Roots have exploded inside of the cloner. We also transplanted the six tester seeds into starter pots of Coco. The Flora Flex Hydro kit came in and hopefully tomorrow I will be measuring out for a tray stand for one of the trays to set up the hydro. Everything is looking good and the veg tent is loving the mix of 6500 k and 3000k cobs. I think that covers everything for tonight thanks for checking in.

Yeah but wasn't fun enough to justify suffering this pain. I'm doubled up on pain meds and smoking and still excruciating. The ribs and chest hurt more the the fractured shoulder lol .

Ouch, hope that heals up quick for you, told you to stay off that skate board! Looking great in there, those flowering gals on the right side are going to be monsters :cool:

Thanks brother .Your grow is looking great as usual also. I topped the girls on the right a lot more than the left side just for a general comparison on two different methods growing I know the genetics are different but still just for a "general" idea of what might be more work or less work and how yields would be affected etc .So we will see. I'm curious as to what the dry yield will be for this run.

I'd be guessing 3-4 zips per on those ladies depending on density. Sure looks like they liked the topping :clap:

All those girls loved the topping and defoliation. Much stronger main stems too . I think they will easily support their weights when they fatten up we will see. Two of the four are my Satori crosses #2, and #3 so far I'm a proud papa.

Yeah they look strong, may want to have some stakes around for later though, could need a little support towards the end. Nice, always cool running new diy gear! The new round coming up is a mix of diy F1's and BX1's, got 2x skunk piss phenos out of the 5 Blue Ripper BX1's, that new BX1 rks male seems to be passing on his stink genes :eyesmoke:

Sweet. And yes always exciting running new gear especially when you made it lol . I have bamboo stakes and trellis net in standby so we will see about support. Keeping my eye on everyone.

Wanted input from those following along . Would it be too late (too far along) now to take down the cobs on one side of the 4x8 and hang one of my raptor hoods with the 600 watt hps for comparison? I have two strains that I can split evenly between both sides one from seed and one from clone.

Thoughts?

Just being the devil's advocate here, not seeing what you'd gain or conclude by changing lights at this point unless you were able to run same-strain/pheno-clones on both sides. Seeds have way too many variables for any side-by-side test.

Yup just a good run and i have three clones from the same mom in there which I could split up I guess I'm just getting anxious. Tired of all the LED vs HID bs lol

Not sure exactly what bullshit you're referring to, although there's always a thread trashing one or the other. I prefer the terps/quality of COBs. I ran CMH for 2 1/2 years, nice quality and production. But the COBs turned up the terps noticeably with existing strains and anything else I throw under them. That's why I prefer them, don't care what the tech is if it produces dank green :eyesmoke:

It's done. I moved some plants around and got one of my raptors up with the 600 watt hps. There's a dark plasma clones from the same mom on each side (2) in the led side and there's a Vienna Skunk (seed) from hso on each side . It's a start and will give me an idea. I will then try an all clone run next run for both trays so there's less discrepancy .

So 600 watts HPS vs 354 Watts of Cob's :eyesmoke:

Day 18 Flower for the right side, other side was 5/6 days behind, I know which plants are which so no biggie.
