Exhaust fan size for 1k hps 1.2m2 tent

Hey guys, im getting all my gear ready for the change to indoor growing.
Im going to be growing in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tall tent, with a 1000w hps in a cooltube. the plan is to have just one fan running, pulling air from the grow room through the cooltube and then a carbon filter before it is exhausted out of the tent. or carbon filter before the cooltube if that works better. i will also use a fan speed controller, to dial in the right airflow and noise
My main question is what sort of air movement do i need, i can get a pretty well priced 6 inch inline fan for $50 that pushes 250 cfm, but with a filter and a light that hot, it just doesnt seem like enough, its not centrifugal either
Otherwise the next step up is a 325 cfm centrifugal fan that costs twice as much, ive been told the centrifugal ones have more pushing power through bends/filters etc
but if im spending that much for $30 more i can get a 440cfm centrifugal
which then leads to my next question, i can get a 8 inch inline, non centrifugal fan, rated at 450cfm for $60
can i just run the 8 inch fan with 6 inch ducting and a reducer? or will this be overly bad for the fan?
Any help would be apprciated, these are items on eBay as there is no good hydro shop down here, just ask if you need/want a link for more details.
any input will be greatly appreciated,
