Exhausting out window in cold climate?

I live in upstate new York and really don’t want to vent out the window seeing that it would let all my heat go right out! if I leave my vent open the room gets to hot I keep a good temp with the room closed up with a space heater outside the tent set to 72 but I know I need to get rid of the used air and the window would freeze my room out or make my heater run 24/7! Any suggestions on what to do? I plan to have two tents with their exhaust connecting outside the tent, but can’t really go out the window for temp reasons. I have a humidifier in the mother tent. So would I want a dehumidifier in the lung room? Anything else or do I still need to get rid of the used hot air.

Im also in upstate! Cheers bro.
I had a similar issue last year and didnt wanna vent out the window any more in winter.
I decided i would get 2 dryer vents and run them through the wall, then i put a flapper outside on each one.
I put a 6"-4" reducer on the vents and hooked my tents up.
When the fans arent on the flappers are closed and keeps the wind from blowing back in. Room stays at 70-72 all year.

With no space heater at 72 and the vent to houses heat open my low is 68, but when I touched my moist soil when I flipped lights on just to see what’s going on is was cold maybe I should get a radiator heater?

Watch that flapper doesn't freeze open from condensation. That would be a chilly tent indeed.

That’s smart
Build a sip. Plants love it, its easy, res likes to be cold anyways, lid helps keep the humidity in check. Rootzone temp worries will be a thing of the past. Just got my third tent in the mail today, wife said I could use the rest of the movie room we used 5 times since we built it. I might have to graduate to an 8" main exhaust and use the 6" exhaust fans as in line boosters. I'll probably wind up building a plenum box into the ceiling out of painted plywood to join the 3 tents and 2 veg cabinets into 1 main 8".

Then I can just take that 8" end line and switch it from window in the summer, and recirculate in the winter. The only problem I can see arising is I'm going to need a bigger dehumidifier in the lung room.

Lots of ways to address the venting issue, and they change with every situation. I'll have no idea how it's going to play out until I get into it.

Sub irrigated planter. I use promix and dry amendments in a 17g tote full of that mix and perforated drain pipe on the bottom to separate the medium from the reservoir. 3 week veg from clone fills out a 2x4 with one sip. I run 4 in each 4x8.

So I ordered a heating mat with temp probe and controller. Imma move my tent soon around in the room sense I have another on the way so imma put thick roofing rubber under my tents to help insulate on the tongue a groove wood floor second story. The mat will be in the tent but under the water proof floor. should be good enough to keep the temps up around the roots during night.IMG_1121.png

What amendments you run? Do you have a “schedule” of kind of what u add when? I wanna build some as I used the city pickers which worked fine just my soil became very compacted after the 2nd run with them and I didn’t reuse it. Think I need a larger capacity like at least those 17 gals u got if not even bigger..
