The plants are praying pretty hard at the end of the day - like they took in too much light, but that's usually what I see at this point after the defoliation day on 14.
The first Sugar show hermed before defoliation - for what it's worth.
I wish we could talk about this on Discord, because it would be nice to know it's not user error (or that if it is, what could it be) - but instead its usually just the copy/paste from mods about light leaks, too much/too little light, etc etc, and if you mention it in public channels you get warned/banned so it's hard to troubleshoot from non mods.

LIT Discord is exactly like this. They just gang bomb you with hate and blame your growing skills to make sure no legit information is allowed to be posted about herms. It's pretty comical. I have 3 packs of EG that might be fun to run but I'm hesitant with so many herm issues

My worst herm ever was Sol Sonic (Gary Payton x Mind Flayer) from Solfire. It was such a beautifully healthy plant, too, but by the third week of flower it was completely covered in balls and nanners. I posted pics in their discord server and not only did they allow it, they actually sent me a free pack as a replacement/apology, so I appreciate them for standing behind their gear.

Lovin In Her Eyes, on the other hand, never even responded to the email I sent about how more than half my pack of Tail Dragger hermed on me. My friend ran six of them and I ran two. Both of mine hermed and half of his hermed. Balls and nanners galore. Those beans were over $20 a pop. Such a joke.

Solfire is way more accepting of what is happening I've found. It's just EG Discord that is hush/hush which is really frustrating. I'm running a pack of Humboldt this round just to see if THEY herm as well - then I know it's something in my environment.

Yeah, LIT is the same way. They tried to tell me that the reported herm issues were just scammers trying to get free seeds. I've never bought any of LIT's gear because its overpriced junk that is all basically the same. All of my future purchases will be from breeders that I know have worked lines and take the time to release as stable genetics as they can. I know that plants herm and that's just the way it is. What I can't stand is the insane prices for untested crosses that are just released to stay up with the marketing.

I have quite a bit from LIT, Exotic and Solfire. Most of these hype breeders are all doing the same thing. Very few of them are even hunting themselves. They're just chucking pollen onto elite clones. It's why "breeders" like Exotic, In House, Wolfpack Selections, LIT, Tiki, Clearwater and so many others can pump out so many crosses so quickly. It definitely leads to lots of herm issues, but it also produces some incredible phenos. And f1 vigor is definitely a real thing.

I just found balls all over my two Mic Drop’s (E85 x Apples & bananas) from Lit. Day 17 of flower. I don’t think they’re salvageable. Too many sacs.

I will say that it could be stress induced. It’s my first run with my Aircube ebb & flow system and there was definitely some overwatering early on. I had a total of six plants in that tent. The other four are one-offs because I only had one seed of each strain, but the Mic Drops are the only one’s to show male flowers so far, so idk.

Yea - I just left the Discord myself after one of the mods removed my posts and was once again condescending. I'll still grow the beans I already have bought - I just can't deal with some of the mods on that discord. Great way to lose a paying customer though.
