Aren't those like 300 milliwatts?

300 mW / sqft?

I'm using 50 W / sqft.

It's an interesting idea to provide a single wavelength source - but thats also what LEDs do, but in more power.

Effectively, HPS lamps are nearly single wavelength - the sodium spectrum is spiked in only 2 spots.

A Laser pointer just doesn't have the power.....

Why bother? A "Lazer" is coherent light, that is light of the same amplitude (frequency) and wavelength. All you can possibly get is one small fraction of the spectral light since the "Lazer" only gives off one single wavelength.

I admire this idea even though it is a male plant, and i love your lab style cupboard:blsmoke:

did you just use the mirrors to bounce the light around? Lighting the plant with the ambiant light from the laser? Has anyone tried to flower a plant with lasers directly on the buds????? I just had this idea about five minutes ago, and you are the only one on the net that has tried anything with lasers...

As for power being an issue, you can always increase the power.. You can spend five minutes on youtube and make a laser that will burn through your pants...lol

anyone have any info on this?!
