Experimenting with different flowering light on time. (25.7hrs)

Im wanting to try something different this coming flowering cycle.
From past experience with the strain im dealing with I know it will start to per flower with 14 hours on 10 hours light off. But iv just done my usual of clones under 24 hour, Then veg at 18 hours and decrease a hour per week until 12/12.

Since my timer has a mins on and mins off cycle I was thinking of trying a experiment with over 24 hours in a cycle. From everything iv found over the years its the dark cycle thats the most important for it to produce the flowering hormone.

My past few grows have been pritty consistent since switching to DWC and last 3 harvests all been with in 5 grams of each other for the same time frame. (7 weeks from hitting 12/12) (9-10 weeks from first sign of flowering)

So here is what im thinking.
25.7 hours cycle.
13.7 hours on and 12 hours off.
822min / 720min

Im hoping the extra 102mins on will either give some extra weight or decrease flowering time.
Has any one tried this before?

My other option would of been.
15 hours on and 12 hours off.
925.68min / 720min
But I dont want to try anything too different so have stuck to the safe choice knowing these will already semi flower at 14 hours.

This is interesting as hell. There was a big thread on this subject I saw years ago. I don't remember what the final verdict was on it, but I'm pretty sure you're on to something.

From the research Ive done on this topic, flowering time increases with this methodology as opposed to shortening it. But you should definitely get extra weight. Just a heads up.
