Day 34 of flowering
GH 3 part bloom formula mixed to about 3-6-9 ml / gal ppm 505 PH 5.65-6.15
Hydro - Ebb and Flow - Ebb and Grow system... I flood 3 x day for 25 minutes 6 noon and 6
Had all sorts of problems in the beginning seems to recover okay now just wanna learn what else is going on for future grows..

I suspect Over or under fert mainly nitrogen related? Im a newb though and would love positive feedback..

Thanks

since your in flowering the low nitrogen is normal, they naturally produce less N in flower. so i wouldn let it worry you much, my girl has plenty of yellow right now.

If you look at pic 8 of 8 you can see a relatively newer leaf with some discoloring beginning. Look to the lower right hand corner and youll see a leaf that is in pretty bad shape.. The beginning as you say is still green and the stem/vines are as well... The edges are the ones that are burnt, curling and yellow/dead... So I would have to say no they start in margins and the serrated leaf tips.

This is what I thought but I have seen peoples plants looking "Healthy" no yellowing all the way to week 7-8 I am only at week 5. I just want the ladies to be as happy as possible with future grows...

Any problems you had in vegg or earily flower will be magnafied late in flower. Your plants look like they may be a lil N defficant but it doesnt matter now that its so far along in flower. Your plants look healthy and happy. It sounds like you have learned from your mistakes. All you can do know is fallow your plans for flowering and take what you have learned to your next grow. Good luck!

Hmm this is the answer I guess I was hoping for.. I mean I did abuse those ladies hard in the beginning.. I mean the buds are nice and frosty and growing real phatt so far.. 3 weeks left... I just wanna be the best grower possible.. Want my nex ladies to be happy all the time. So with the mm or so of nute burn on the leave tips and the yellowing we think that its still a N difficency and im not burning them?

Looks like nitrogen if anything. HPS light appears to be bleaching plants or photo?

Good Luck
Diesel you think that this is light bleaching?

Nitrogen to much or not enough?

I have 1K MH and 1K HPS above them about 17-21 inches above the canopy air vented outside of the room/house. Temps are fine 69 night 81 day..

Hmm interesting..

I think rollitup is having attachment issues right now I dont see any attached thumbs right now anywhere.. Anyways I started with the Lucas forumla and worked with PPMS from 200-500 and had bad issues so I started using the GH 3 part with the gro finished off at about only 325 vegging... I have had this res up to about 575 I have added back 12 gal to the 32... So its a bit dropped.. I change it out in a couple days... I recalibrated my ppm meter and the ppm is 524. I do use a .5 meter conversion

That is a misconception people have is that Lucas is good for Veg. You were smart to go 3 part. But in bloom phase Lucas works well IMO. It seems you should be feeding them, regardless of Lucas or not, 23-25 ml of GH nutes. 900-1000 ppm @.5 is a good safe dose for indicas. 325 veg is WAY too low so the N def. makes sense. I would encourage you to pump it up a notch and see what happens. What I do so as not to jeopardize the whole crop, is take a wide bucket and fill with your experiment nutrient and take one plant off the system and manually feed it by dunking in the bucket 2 to 3 times a day and see what the response is. I take the ebb/grow bucket with holes in it for the plant to rest in to prevent the protruding roots from getting damaged. Before I do this I would lift the bucket up and down to aerate the mixture.

I added into my res (30 gal) 18 tsp of MagiCal to help with the leave yellowing. I am not sure if this is a good idea but others were saying that my PPMs are low and to bump them up a bit with Nitrogen and Magnesium. My MagiCal has 2-0-0 It has Nitrogen Magnesium and Iron. My PPMs are now at 595. I Change the res out again on Friday at that time I will make a nute batch with PPMs 650-800? Sound about right?

First off what are your ppms out of the tap or where ever your are getting your water?

My tap is around 200 ppm, so if my ppm reader only read 300 that means there is only 100 ppm of real nutes the other parts are crap.
See what im sayin?

It seens you are doing the right things by giving your plants a well rounded program. Alot of poeple skimp on the cal mag. I think you could bring up your ppm a bit.

I only use RO water PPMs 4-6 and PH 4.9
