explosive new growth during FINAL FLUSH ....HELP !!!!!

After I began my final flush I began to notice new growth, white pistils exploding every where!
Im at 10 week for 10 week strains....going onto the 11th week in a few days

what ended up happening, i am having the same issues, my four nothern lights are at week 8, they were getting nice and ripe, i flushed my girls giving it a 10 day to 2 week flush and im at ten days for my flush, before the flush it was about 60% pistils brown, they have swelled tremendous but a TON of new growth and pistils everywhere. its back up to 80% plus white pistils the trichomes are about 90% milky /10% clear. no amber trics yet. I can have pictures later tonight when my lights come on at 7 oclock if needed.

I'm not an experienced grower, but I have read this site up and down and sideways trying to educate myself (also nearing the end of my first grow and I've learned alot). Basically, when you say it's a 10 week strain, that is most likely according to the Breeder. The breeder is most likely growing under absolutely perfect conditions with state of the art equipment. Most people add 1-2 (if not more) weeks to the breeder's suggested time. Towards the end of the grow, the plants often explode again with brand new pistil and calyxs which can almost double the size of the buds. You might consider going 12 weeks, if not more. Gotta love those sativas, eh?

Not only what was said above, but if somethign is a 10 week strain it's ten weeks from the start of flowers, if your girls didnt have pre flowers you gotta add a bit of time, in your case that you alreadly flushed, add molasses to your flush mix it will help to give them somethin in its final few days....
