Extra light in flowering - HELP!

My girls just missed out on their beauty sleep and pulled an all-nighter!

They've been on 12/12 for about 2 weeks now and today when I went to check I realised that my timer gave out and the light stayed on for the 12 hours when they should have been in the dark.

I've replaced the timer now with a new one so it shouldn't happen again. I turned them off straight away, but my problem is that I want to maintain the schedule they were on as it works better for my life, so my question is - Do I leave them off for 12 hours and mess up my schedule, or leave them off for 24 hours which will get me back to my normal schedule? I would much prefer to leave them off for 24 but I'm worried that 24 on then 24 off then back to 12/12 will mess them up.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the responses, really appreciate it. Do you think it's likely that any of my girls might go hermie from this? I've never had this situation happen so no experience dealing with nanners or pollen sacks... :(

Probably not. But if they do spit nanners......

I'm here for you.
