Extra o2 for the roots?

I like to leave my tap water sitting out for a few days before I water my girls with it. My question is, if I put a airpump with airstone into my 5 gallon bucket of water, would it put extra oxygen at the roots? :-|

I've heard about using hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) to add oxygen to water, but i'm not sure if it works. I just added 3 ml h2o2 / gallon water to my last watering batch (i'm growing in soil), but as of yet i cannot see any difference.

Yes adding peroxide to your water helps very much because it imitates rain water.

I like to add a ounce of peroxide to every quart of water.

I use h2o2 in my regular water and in my fertilizer mixes.

h2o2 is created in nature when ozone starts to split in the atmosphere and gets caught in rain. rain being h2o with the extra oxygen from the ozone creating h2o2. Ever notice that clean smell after a rain storm?

You can buy 3% and 6% hydrogen peroxide over the counter at any chemists for like £1 ($2) a bottle or less. I use it mixed 1 part peroxide to 1 part water for cleaning cuts or infections. I also have a glass with the same mix in my bathroom to leave my toothbrush and the wifes to keep them free of any bacteria buildup. I use a 3 part water 1 part peroxide solution for a mouthwash and gargling. My mouth has never been so clean!

Any kind of bacteria, viral infection or disease can be treated with oxygen, this is true for plants, animals and humans :) hope this helps!
