Extreme Growth

Hey RIU members, I'm new to growing and am not looking at getting into it to seriously. Because I'm only aiming for one or two harvests, is it possible for me to leave plants in a veg/growth stage (running 24/0) for an extended period of time (much more than recommended) and expect a larger harvest?

Thanks in advance.

its possible yes. but everything depends. you can leave a plan in veg for as long as you like. it will grow vegetative growth for that time until you tell it to do otherwise. but as far as your yield goes that depends on everything from strain to nutes and so many other things in between. if you have the room, then by all means grow grow grow. goodluck

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What that dude said! A friend of mine does 1 grow a year, vegges 24/0 for 3 months and flowers out to 30% amber. His yeilds are huge but he has the space to do it. W

You can technically keep a plant in the vegetative stage for as long as you like. But be prepared to have the space to grow it and expect it to at least double in size when you flower it. As for yield, like Hoenhiem said, that depends on the strain and other factors.
