extreme wilting!

OK, let me first off say I have absolutely NO experience growing pot. I actually just stumbled upon this one little plant when my friend found a seed in his bud and then threw away the plant that grew from it (a travesty i know!)

That being said, I rescued this guy (or gal) after it was ripped up and thrown away. It came back to life when I initially transplanted it, and then it wilted real bad. After a few days it came back and looked awesome. I went out and bought a larger container for it and some potting soil (miracle grow's organic stuff). It looked great but now it's wilted again....why??? Over watered or shock from the transplant? Nutrients? Think it'll come around again?

I'm just growing this using natural sun light in my apartment. I have no plans to make anything fancy as I just want to grow one plant for my own enjoyment. Any info would be awesome, thanks guys!

Oh man, that thing looks sad...yikes...!

Okay, well, you mentioned you put it in Miracle Grow...does it contain any nutrients? If it does...it'll say something like "good for two months" or something on the bag. If so...make sure you aren't feeding it any extra! It could be experiencing some shock from going from poor soils to strong, nutrient rich soil.

However, on the bright side, the leaves are green...just wilted. Make sure it is watered well...and then sit back and watch.

You'll have a bigger problem when the leaves start drying out and turning brown or yellow. Post back if it continues to get worse.

Your soil looks dessert dry, try giving it water but dont flood it just soak around the plant for now and get the roots wet, then after it rebounds you can go back to regular watering schedule and amount. Hope his helps!

Actually it is well watered at the moment of the pic (taken yesterday). I thoroughly watered it when I transplanted it to the new container, that's why i'm wondering if I maybe over watered it.

looks like a slightly worse case than wat happened after i transplanted this grw, it took mine 2 weeks to recover but now they big fst colas:) i wud suggest jus leaving her alone now, u said u watered her thouroughly wen transplanted so it should be a gd 4-5 days maybe longer till she wants more. a decent bit of light will be neede aas well if u have any plans on it producing any weeed, can u jus get her a small 6400k cfl for now and put her in a cupboard, then at least she will have a gd chabce of coming round and then gt ya slf some proper lighting sorted, unless that is u gt lush sunshine all day, and if u have piss off it aint fair it fcking freezin ya :P
