I ordered 10 female white dwarfs yesterday to plant outdoor next week. I am useing ff produts for the first time. I am thinking for the auto flowers to just use bloom nutes. what do you think? I have also heard not to go by the bottle instructions. The grow big says 1 teaspoon per gallon wich sounds low to me. im not sure how much big bloom and tiger bloom to add per gallon either. I will be watering evrey day. Can someone tell me the right amount for these nutes? Thanks!

I would also like to hear people's opinions on this post.

I'm thinking of grabbing a few auto-flowering seeds to hold me off during this long trek.

Let me get this straight: I can put auto-flowering strains underneath the same fluorescent light, as the seedling/vegetative strains that I'll transplant outdoors?

If this is true, hell I'll grow these the same exact time as my main batch, then when I go to transplant outside, I should be almost done flowering.

well for 10 seeds. youll need like 230-250 watts to veg and just throw away the males unless you want to do a seed grow to keep the genetics (highly suggested) id take the best male and the best female alone far away from the rest of your plants and then get like 100 seeds

Ok cool sounds great, would seedlings/vegetative be able to grow under HPS? I know this is a newb question, I'll go and read the bible over again, I'm mostly outdoor growing.

Also, do HPS require a new ballast or can I just plug it into a lamp fixture?

okay well heres the thing about hps for veg it will work but plants will stretch more than if it was 6500k cfls or a metal halide.
and yes you will need a ballast for an hps.

Could I get away with buying this for my regular grows seedling/vegetative stage AND for starting/finishing my lowryders?: http://cgi.ebay.com/Compact-T5-GROW-mh-BLOOM-hps-FLUORESCENT-LIGHT-2ft-CFL_W0QQitemZ180240561414QQihZ008QQcategoryZ42225QQcmdZViewItem

Please let me know, I plan on starting ASAP and I'm still confused on lighting. I don't want to spend a lot or get 2 types of lights, because I plan on moving them outside and harvesting the lowryders at the same time. Last frost is estimated at 4/20 and the radius for my closet is 4'x3'.
