I got rudely woken up at 5 this morning by a police chopper circling my house! All my lights went off at 8pm and don't come on till 8am would they have been able 2 c anything ?

Where do u live? If your in america they need a warrant to flir your house. Just dont do anything stupid or careless and give them a real reason to come over. if they do do that DO NOT let them trick you into letting them search the house or even come inside the house. You have a right to refuse a search, exericise that right of yours. Say something like "im too busy" or "gotta go somewhere" if/when they ask you why you refuse it, also dont let them get you with the "We just want to do a quick search and we'll be out of your hair right after that." either.

Do other people live around you? Any chance of other criminal activity going on there?

I don't think they would be able to see anything if your lights were off and it was dark as well as it being an indoor grow...

This reminds me of something ive thought of while watching shows about chases and all that stuff. Wouldnt it suck if you had a fenced in yard and were growing bud in it and some punk hops the fence somehow and the police give chase and YOU end up getting busted for the plants you have because the cops notice them while chasing the guy down.

That would b most unfortunate!
Iv seen a show where they were searching a gaff and found 3 plant, they put it down as personal took everything and left a note saying come and hand yourself in!

oh
i started mine on 18/6 yesterday and they are doing good my tallest one is about 5 inches tall with only 4 small leaves so i decided to switch the lighting and they are all doing better starting to sprout more leaves

I reckon you'l be fine mate. Unless you've got like 2000w in an uninsulated loft then they aint gonna be seeing anything. Plus, unless your serving up out of your gaff then why would you even come up on their radar? In my experience plod are usually shit at seeing things right in front of their noses, so very unlikely they'l have seen a grow room with the light off ;-)

By all means keep vigilant, but dont sketch yourself out and make yourself paranoid.
