I don`t understand how we can trust our feelings and visions so much to say there is a god or energy. I can see the bonging alcoholic is a faithful person, but faith gives faithfull people the right to be ignorant. I could say 1+1=3 and I have %100 faith in this and just ignore facts kinda thing but your doing it with a subject which will most propably never proven right or wrong which is why ideas such as this have been thriving since the ancient days.
A lot of people tripping on acid including a new friend claims we can manipulate the flow of energy to change things in the universe. How would you prove this? I don`t see anything changing in our world ever. I could get into a lot of political shit and examples right now but that would send this off topic but you know what I mean. If praying changed stuff, stuff would change. You can`t just rely on prayers and when they don`t happen say its destiny or ment to be...
My point is; the way you look at things fully charged with faith, it will give you the ignorance to justify anything and everything so there is no point here. E.g my mother died but it was her time, the crops arent growing but god will provide (it rains) yay god!!! etc.. Its just untrue IMO
But I do belive in a form of energy, the sort you will feel while on psychedelics but this is mental energy. We are limited to the physical constraints of our body but will be able to function better with good input and energy. However, this is psychology I would like to point out, not mumbo jumbo powers...
