fast flowering limb

i've got a couple of female headband's that i've been flowering for 3 weeks now and i noticed something odd. there is a branch comming off the bottom of one of my plants that is at least twice as big as any other node on the plant, its kinda like a whole new plant comming off the main stalk. thats fine but what struck me as odd was the hairs on the top of said branch are starting to get darker but all the other hairs on the whole plant are white as can be. anyone seen this before?

it also has alot more crystals developing then the other tops. could this branch be growing faster than the rest of the plant? and sorry about not having pics but my cam sucks so it wouldnt do me any justice. any ideas or help would be appreciated

okay, i took some pics but like i said they arent top quality. but basically the one pic is the whole plant (well, most of it), the top on the left side is the fast developing one. can you see how white all the other hairs are accept the top on the left?? the other pic is a close-up of that top. its really starting to get alot of crystals now and about 25% or more of the hairs are getting alot darker.

all the other hairs on this plant are white accept the top on this branch. wtf? should i just cut that bud when it looks ready and keep flowering the plant or just leave it? at this rate i think it will have 75 to 80% of the hair turn dark within a week or so.

I have had injured limbs produce more buds at a faster rate.Was this limb broken at one time?
