Got 5 fat bastard seeds from a friend who had gotten them online. Just curious if anyone is familiar with this strain?

Just dropped in to locate soe more information about Fat Bastard for my own records and ran into your post.

Fat Bastard is a great strain. A nice mix of Indica and Sativa, heavier toward the Sativa side if I may make an educated guess. She makes a super sweet flower but will take on a white widdow's musky aroma and falvor if you folwer in too small of a pot.

I have a good friend that has recantly changed from growing black market to legalizing his garden from within his states medical program. He has grown for 15+ years now and has a very well developed indoor cultivation. Approximately 1000 Square feet. He only grows fat bastard if this gives you an idea of how favored this strain is in the Northwest anyway.

She's builds leaves that are a deep, dark, strong green. She will kick the tricolmbs like a fantastic Indica will indoors.

The high is managable but nearely opiate like. When I turn to the FB I am seeking to disappear and let the day fly by watching a movie or the like.

By no means is this a couch-lock strain but sometimes it's exactly what we are seeking in something that will help us to relax and be abel to zone into a project or something as mondane as a good movie on a day when you have the time and so on. Iwoudl class it up at the very top of what I can handle smoking or woudl ever have in my own.

I am sporting 17 strains now which is beginning to be more work than it may be worth without a patiant other than myself. I am an Oregon medical marijuana Patiant in case anyone here is concerned of anyone posting here that is not 100% legal. I don't persoanlly care as long as I am not asked to partake in anything illegal. Cool enough?

My favorites are Bubble Gum and Shishkaberry.

I grow a little off the shelve in style, quality and quantity per plant.

I would love to drop you a couple of shots of my garden.

The Fat bastard shot is of a flower that is right at 9 feet i height. The flower in the shot is 6 inches wide in girth.

If my attachments take and you can see them, the second is a new design I have evolved to that I am calling a glove. This plant yeilded 17.5 ounces of clean dry flowers. A super good yeild for a Strawberry Cough plant. Shoudl anyone be interested in some help and advise to learn to grow in this style I have some instructions and a few good shots to help a person along. It does take a little honest to goodness hands on artistry so one had to know this before starting. I haev had two individuals to date that didn't have it in them to follow through the process but everyone else that has reverted to a high yeliding style of growing like this are alll yeilding at least 3 times the yeilds they had been with an average if five times the yeild. Cool enough!

I would venture to guess that this will be one that you will favor over most all others.

Glad to be of help in further elaborating on the Fat bastard. Good luck with yours.

PS: Since someone mentioned it, should you produce a good strain from your seeds this is as homogenious (sp) a strain as I have ever seen. Very stable but again it will be up to you to know of the best way to bring a few seeds into being the best possable variation of what you have in your possession.

Perfect plants to say the least if I may be so bold as to suggest...

I'm lighting one now to go to bed with. grrrin!

I just noticed my nickname and title. Not in love with the preset for a new member as a Stranger. Boo

In all of the forums that I have been affiliated with I have been pulled out of the counter system & re-named (Master Cultivator) Hopefully the administrator will see fit to do the same for me here in time. This would be appreciated & not a request based on ego but rather in an effort to identify myself to others that they can immediately identify me as someone appropriate to ask a question should I be available.

I am in Oregon in the Portland area. I literally am a Master Gardener & I work a lot with new and old members.

I have developed a full gamete of tools & solutions in super effective insecticides, fertilizers, ect, ect. I have basically mastered every area of Marijuana cultivation & can identify & cure nearly any problem a fellow cultivator is having on the spot.

Everything I use in my garden can be consumed by humans & will not leave any taste or aroma in the finished product.

As for a recant major breakthrough for me: I have recently developed a treatment & method for safely (organically) arresting powdery mildew.

If any visiting here from the Portland, OR area. I mention this, should there be any others from the area that may be in need or simply would like to become acquainted.

I am more than happy to stock a new member with enough meds, clones and/or plants when available to keep them until their garden is ready for first use. I always have a few prepared bonsai plants laying around that need very little care to see them through bloom.

I myself am a Medical Marijuana patient in
Oregon.

Take care and thank you for making me a little more neighborly in descriptive title if you will be so kind?

I’m thinking the nada nickname needs to go....

Elsewhere I am known as: "The Sheba Man"

That should ring a few bells here. LOL

Here as an ice breaker allow me to put out a snack tray for everyone who would ..... I am including a full sized downlaodable version should anyone like to try it out on their desktop. It's a great desktop if your in an environment that will alow for the cannabi-descression.

If you open the link below and simply right click on the picture when it opens and choose SET AS BACKGROUND and guess what? You've got it!

I’m familiar with how a typical PHP host program works. Thanks!

No worries!

There are more than one reason I am in need of being recognized as for who I am.

I desperately need to be recognized as someone to reach easily for those new members in need of free meds “POT.” I was just recently forced to make hash out of 6.5 ounces of perfectly good flowers. I couldn't find any more homes for my excess and thusly my hash pile got bigger.

I also make an amazing butter from my hash that's like none other. No one to date has tried this without coming back for more and it’s always free for the taking.

If any may be interested?

I add 10.5 grams of finished bubble hash to 3/4 of a pound of unsalted butter and heat in a crock pot for 2 hours on medium heat, strain through a nylon and refrigerate.

This makes the most potent product imaginable. I can't get the butter to absorb any more THC/CBDS. It actually numbs the tong and lips to the touch.

The result is no more troubles with anything in the GI tract. Many have cried on the spot & begged for more after trying this. This also presents a greatly reduced head high making it easier to be heavily medicated while performing at a job, ect...

As a pain medicine this recipe works like nothing you have ever imagined or experienced if you haven’t tried it yet.

To any here from the Portland area, greetings and don’t be shy. Networking is key and I need help from time to time myself. In the mean time I always have an ounce on the shelf for a new friend.

I am a chronic pain sufferer. I can rarely drive so it's imperative that I have good people around me that can share out my meds as needed.

Naa you're right. I need to have my butt kicked once in a while to help keep me in line. I was a writer once upon a time and it hard for me not to drop a novel at the drop of a hat. Thanks for the heads up. I'll tyr to keep them down to a short story. LOL

I think I've made my point here as to where I am and that I am someone here that is able to help out where there's a need.

Don't do anything that creates odor in the first place. lol (Just kidding - sorry)

When someone mentions to me that they're having trouble with aroma control I will immediately ask for them to further elaborate on their entire situation. I will give you an example, that you better understand why and what sort of information one should be examining.

I was asked by a new grower to help her with aroma control. Here’s her scenario: She had one child a girl and had a daycare in her home. She had a two bedroom apartment in which case she elected to use her back bedroom to grow in. She grew right out in the open with no cabinet or divider in the room either.

Everything was set up on the nice new carpet and she basically had a hollow core door with a lockset handle pointed backwards, likely with a good sized gap at the bottom as well. She was only growing for herself.

Her dilemma was that she didn't feel that the air freshener she had been using when parents would drop in without notice at al times during the day to drop off and/or pickup. 6:00 AM through after 6:00 PM.

One individual dropped in and insisted on her dropping a small blower in the room attached to a matching carbon filter.

I have some odd ideas like people don't buy anything being sprayed into the air every time they walk through a door. One thing to consider is that you have been in the environment for an extended period of time and the accuracy of your nose will not be spot on.

For this gal I suggested a trip to E-bay for a great deal on a hunter 30398 whole room air freshener. eBay - hunter 30398, Consumer Electronics items on eBay.com+

$150 to $250.00

Specs:

· 99.97% Effective True HEPA Filter Performance
· CADR Certified Rating For Rooms Up To 19' x 21' - 260/Smoke, 260/Dust, 245/Pollen
· Separate Carbon Pre-Filter for 30% Better Odor Reduction
· Remote Control for Ultimate Convenience
· Electronic Controls with 1, 2, 4, & 8 Hour Automatic Run Timer
· LED Filter & Pre-Filter Change Reminders
· Whisper-Quiet, 3-Speed Hunter Fan
· 5 Year Limited Warranty
· 1 Year Suggested HEPA Filter Life
You should expect to pay about $160.00 for one at E-bay otherwise they are pretty expensive. In her case she was working in a finished room. Working with that a nicer made for indoors self contained system like this would be more appropriate and much more versatile.

That alone will not do the trick for near in room contact. I suggested that she apply a light weather-strip to the bedroom door frame and for her to find a door sweep that drops and retracts creating the best possible weather seal at the threshold. I suggested that maybe in the warmer months she may enjoy a window fan blowing out and yet her best defense would be in making the best possible impression on her client’s parents.

I suggested that she learn to cook more stews, sauces, soups and Chile. There's nothing more assuring than a house mom that's always got a pot on the stove releasing more aroma than is necessary to disguise her aroma problem and in a manor that is congruent to the environment.

You wouldn't want to buy a rose flavored air freshener to hide an aroma in a wrecking yard but maybe you would. My philosophy says that anything you can put into the air that reflects an aroma that people are used to smelling strongly the better you are off.

The air freshener I suggested to her is Fabreeze - original scented. It smells just like the dryer running or better said fabric softener. People are very used to smelling an overwhelming presence of fabric softener in the air indoors and out.

I think one needs to be observant and resourceful in working out whatever makes the most sense give your particular environment including the impact this environment has on unwanted neighbors or drop-inn’s. You want to worry, our postal carrier, the Fed Ex man and UPS are the worst one to encounter our aroma and none of them cal before stopping in do they.

There's no perfect answer but I am more than willing to help with determining the necessary CFM according to what works as opposed to the manufacturers suggested ability. Believe it or not they don't always report accurately.

If you would like to share a little more detail as to your individual situation I am sure that there are many here that will have some great suggestions. Most swear by ozium or I think it's called O2 just like the other as I understand it.

I use several things working together. Cooking when it's not necessary to share that side of myself with certain family and others.

I have found one source for wick air fresheners that will help in a constantly outward air-flow.

That's all for now.

I do hope that this message will provide you some help.

ShebaMan your Fat Bastard is 9 feet tall holy shit I can't house a giant like that!! Hopefully I've got a different strain of Fat Bastard seeds cuz I am expecting an indica sized plant. Here's the seeds I've got.
Kind Seed Marijuana Seeds, Fat Bastard - THC Laboratories, Indica Marijuana Seeds

I've only got 5 seeds but hopefully they are the start of something great. They will be my second grow along with some other assorted seeds. So it's great to have so many experienced growers. Strangers or members alike haha.. Oh my first harvest is this weekend I think I'm sure I'll put up some pics.

One of the most important things I will try to help a grower with right off the bat, expoerianced or not is in trimming and gaining a real understanding of what one is doing when removing a leaf. I start all of my bonsai plants in bloom at approximately 2 feet tall off the dirt with 80 to 120 colas comprising the plant. The trimming technique I decide to use determins how large the plant will become and I will see any plant as large as I like in the exact same period of time as I do one I decide to keep smaller, tighter ect. I liek them to inish out at only about four feet in height. That will yeild between ten and 20 ounces of fine sheba and that's more than enough to go around.

I need to get some demonstration shots and instructional tutorials up that more peope are seeing all that they should be in yeilds and in controll over how any plant responds in bloom.

The main reason I dorpped in here in the beginnig is to find more Oregonians in need of free meds, "WEED." I need to get rid of about two pounds in the next two weeks. Here in Oregon we are a very friendly bunch. There's never a dime expected or will any money ever be accfepted for our efforts or meds. It's illegal here to accept any gratuiety here in trade for meds or anything else related to MMJ. I would like this time to find about four people starting off in my area and drop about six to senen ounces on them each thatnthey will haver plenty of meds to keep them until their first crop is in and cured. No such luck to date. I will need to keep moving on searching elsewhere. believe it or not oregon recantly increased our numbers and now everyone in our main forums here is taken care of in triplicate and there's no where to give it away. I can keep buring it all into hash reducing the stored weight but I don't like doing that with good flowers if I don't have to.

I may need to stop growing for part of the year if this keeps up. How weird is that for a delema?

I need to run. We're having company here for lunch today and I need to get ready.

Take care????? Whomeever,

The Sheba man... Tony..

Just in case I wasntclear on it. Your fat bastard plant will only grow as large as you let it. An average plant grown under two thousand watts of HPS will only increase about 12 to 24 inches in height if your growing straight up and are trimming as most do with nothing special being done to increace in size.... Don'tworry about them neing any bigger than anything else you have grown. I like to play with fertailzers also which will cause my plants to grow at an insane rate shoudl I desire this. I do have one formula that actually retards the blooming process by two to three week if one desires this to bring a pant in where it is needed to be to meet a goal for yeild.

The secret ingrediant for that formula is to use your water left over from making bubble hash. I sue ten other thinsg as well. I use a base material in Alaskan Fish fertalizer which will produce what i call solid food for your plants. They love it and will eat all that they can get for a month-ish. I will add in some Tiger Bloom and some liquid sea weed to promot root growth in the first month in bloom. If you use 50/50 water to bubble water in your mix you will retard your blom by at least two weeks and your plants will get larger. This is how i get the six inch across flowers. The glove design wil freak anyone out. laying down your colas and tying them to the next steak over will increase the yeild of that cola by two times. Thye love growing upwards off the stem as opposed to vertically. If you choose a height to work with and will bend over all your colas one at a time as needed you will see a harvest like none other. I have a series of bonsia shots that i can e-mail but you woudl need to send me an e-mail adress to send them to. I am reworking the tutorial to include a few new factsand processes right now so that's not availuable yet.

All my best,

Sheba...
