Feed Plan?

In my opinion some 2-4-1 fish Hydrolysate and worm castings will Not provide enough nitrogen for the "stretch" or early flower period.

Based on the lime green color of his plants, in his pictures, they have not been getting enough nitrogen lately. They are already behind!

Nitrogen needs are Highest a week or two into 12/12. So the plants are already not getting enough N, and they are about to need more.

Overgrotho said himself, "Yes they are craving nitrogen, but I already flipped to flower." Now I hate to play mind reader, but it seems like dude believes that you can't feed nitrogen to flowering plants. In my opinion this is a mistake!
You're very correct. People often get confused with the "no Nitrogen" thing.

Eliminating N during flower is not what we want to do, but to reverse the ratios of Nitrogen:Phosphorus. Nitrogen is key in all stages of plant growth, but is also crucial in providing energy to the microbes we are attempting to cultivate within our soils.

@Overgrowtho

I took a look at your grow journal. The first photo appears to be N deficiency, however if you take a look at the second photo you see signs of N excess. The infamous clawing of leaves, with some of the fan leaves looking a tad too dark.

I have no experience with LEDs, but it could be that the light is messing with the color of the plants themselves. My DE MH bulb was like this, made my plants looking too dark. Once I turn the light off, or put the plants under sunlight they looked normal.

Not sure of the N sources in your super soil, but I know that many super soil recipes tend to use Blood Meal and/or Guanos. Both ingredients are quite hot, and if not decomposed enough will cause excess N problems/burn.

IMO, if the photo shows clawing and dark green leaves you have too much N if anything. I'd only feed with the Fish Hydrolysate in your shoes, personally.

I'd also grab some hay/straw/etc to cover the soil with as mulch. The mulch will leech some of the N from your soil as it starts to decompose.

Thanks everyone. Not only fish hydrosolate, but I am feeding with worm casting / compost aerated tea and kelp extract. Soon I am getting the flower top dressings to pump up the bloom organic nutes.

But will continue to feed the nitrogens via tea. Yes there was a deficiency but it seems to have balanced out better after I fed the above tea yesterday. I think and hope that the compost/casting tea (once or twice per week) with hydrosolate will be sufficient N for the flower phase.
