Feed runoff ppm tests.

Okay so I tested my water for feeding, it had around 770 ppm before I fed, PH 6.2, in soil, fed from the top, tested runoff, and it came out higher on all 5 pots? Is this normal? Do I need to wait and test later? Using a nutra wand

Because the water will get wicked up by the wicks and the roots probably right?

Some soil mediums will do this...its normal, yes.
I'm a hydro guy, but I think I read its due to nutrient in the soil which get used up over time...so it should eventually even out I believe.

Okay, I see, thanks for the info, I kinda figured because it went through the dirt the ppm would rise

I am switching over to coco soon

Not for these plants, but my next batch will be coco and pearlite mix

I've never tried coco myself...just soil and hydro.
Going to be using coco soon for clones for my buddy that grows in coco so he doesn't have to keep transferring the clones from the soil to coco...so soon I will have to learn a little about it I guess...lol

Ya theres a few different kinds from what I've read about it so far...has to be 'treated' and so on prior to using it...will know more when I need to.

I bought ready treated bricks from the hydro shop, just gotta expand the coco and add pearlite and a plant
