Fellow aerogardeners, my grow 65 days in and relying on luck !

Hey guys, I've been trolling for several months now, and I decided to start a grow in the AeroGarden deluxe. My only other experience was helping my cousin grow in soil 5-6 years ago, and that was limited. So I started my own plant with just what came in the box. It wasnt until later that more CFL's were added. I regret not adding another pump like in the sticky guides. Hindsight... So it's been a lot of good luck, a little of bad, but I'm here with one decent female 65 days in.

First off, let me get some questions out of the way, I could REALLY use the help!

I am almost out of the original nutrients (AeroGarden salad bar series) so I bought some FoxFarm Big Bloom.
Judging from their .pdf online, I should be using 3 capfull : 1 gallon of water. Is this correct? If so I will need to switch really quick; I have one gallon mix of the AeroGarden nutes left. Also this switch should be done right at dark?

Secondly, I have noticed I guess fungus coming out of the stalk. I tried to take a good picture

but there is also some around the edges of the res where light has been getting in. I have not flushed the res out since week 3-4 because I'm afraid of ripping all the roots. I realize this is also from light penetration, not enough circulation, and lack of flushing, but since I probably have about 24-30 days left of bloom (actually another question?) is this much of an issue?

I initially started with two plants using only what came in the aerogarden box.. nutrients included. i ran into some typical problems over nuting the plants

read up on that and started a third plant one week later from the other two.

This is when I started a third plant, and the future holds this was a very wise idea. About 2.5 weeks into growth, I 'forgot' about the plants and the res ran completely out of water. I see three plants drooping over. I didn't take a picture of this, I guess I thought it was over.
Here's the stroke of luck. Two of the three plants died and this is what I've got and pictures of the grow to today:

bent stalk to start growing out and not up..
also trimmed the lower leaves up a bit

Just a nice bud behind my leaves :joint:

Oh there she is!

I added 4 1660 lumens CFL a few weeks ago, two on each side..

and my top.
If you made it all the way through, thanks for the read. Hopefully I didn't leave anything out. I could really use some professional advice!

hey man, looks great, stretchin a bit perhaps, but that fungi is pretty serious. ive read of guy's plants main stems falling over from that shit eating up the plant. best thing i found to stop all that moisture from building up is try keeping the water level down a bit lower than you normally do. and geta fan in there to blow her around a bit, shake those hips.. looks good tho man! congrats. my past 2 attempts have been dicks... got 2 solid ones goin now tho, crossin fingers theyre fems :)

Mine is amateur advice, but next time try to seal off the grow pods better or invest in some two inch net pot covers from your local hydroponics store. I think they're about fifty cents each and they will help. You don't have to remove the planting deck to give it a superficial rinsing but it's a whole lot easier if you do. You probably have algae in the tank and if you carefully reach in and loosen the spars from the front and back walls of the reservoir you should be able to get it apart without doing too much damage to the roots. There are anti-fungal sprays on the market and you should be able to get that from your hydropoincs store. Other than that it looks good.

Thanks for the replys. I sealed everything off with electrical tape and scraped te fungus off the stalk ad taped that up too. I've decide to go ahead and switch to the foxfarm nutes does anyone know if the 3caps to 1 gallon is the correct ratio? It seems too much to me.
