Any my point is that citizens nationwide rejected this abuse of the Constitution. Laws were changed to address illegal gun seizure in times of emergency.Good Good!
But, I thought it was illegal for them to do that in the first place/'back then'? Weren't they breaking the laws in the first place going against the second constitutional(laws of our land) amendment because they deemed it appropriate. Or its only our RIGHTS when everything is going "as planned"..... Frankly, the citizens didn't even have one ounce of effect of the outcome from the hurricane. It was inevitable, so why punish the citizens and beat up old ladies? It just doesn't make sense to me.
So my point is that they disregarded the law abiding citizens RIGHTS back then, so I hope they won't disregard the citizens RIGHTS again in the future because they "deem it appropriate".
