@eastcoastmo Awesome mate! Stoked to hear you were successful!

Sorry everyone about the lapse and lack of updates. Landlord was updating the wiring,
and much of the work was to be done in my grow area so I had to relocate everything to
my brother's for a couple weeks.

The reversing went very well though, ended up with nearly all male flowers on the clones.
Pollen was not fully releasing on the Kosher but was able to crush some sacs and pollinate
a good amount of flowers. I will post some pics tonight of the seed formations developing nicely
as we move along.

@Budget Buds Thanks for the great compliment mate. When I started this thread I thought that
I was in the breeder's section but apparently not.

@potroast If any mods could possibly move this thread to breeder's paradise I would greatly appreciate it!

Cheers brother, real happy with the results hey! Got 2 of the offspring growing right now so we'll see how they come out :)

Great thread bud. Thank you. I am fascinated by the CS because I have used CS most of my life and wanted to share some info. First off the whole blue thing is redonculas. Ud have to drink gallons and gallons of 100s or 1000s of ppm for that to happen. Good CS for humans is 10-50ppm. Its expensive to buy but a generator is only like $150-$200 and every person should have one because it litterally replaces every over the counter cold flu antibiotic ect. It is unbelieavable how powerful it is. It cures not treat symptoms. I have not been sick for seven years and yes part of that is genetics but in large part if I feel anything off I start taking 1TB or so CS every 2hrs and it stops anything from taking. It truly is a crime that info on it is suppressed so much because it truly is a cure all and would wipe out billions of dollars of fuckex up OTC meds that don't do shit except shut down your bodies natural responses.

I encourage any and evrryone reading this to do some research and try it out yourself and then share with everyone when you see its the real deal because it is. I know what I'm talking bout regarding CS and make and sell it to local chiropracter here in colorado with liscense. I can't sell it online but honestly I tell evrryone to get a generator and make your own.

Side note. OP is right. Do not consume any silver made diy. I make 50ppm silver and while there is a little residue on bottom after making a gallon the water is alcohol clear. His diy makes sense for plants but don't consume it.

Okay, the solution is made and now it's time to spray. I use small clones that I will reverse and flower separately
from the pollen recipient. This round I will reverse 3 clones each of the Kosher and Tangie to hopefully ensure
sufficient pollen production.

I like to start spraying the clones 7-10 days before I put them into flower. I then like to start flowering them 7-10 days before
I flip the main plants, the pollen recipients. I use a sprayer with a fine mist and spray the clones at least twice per day. Any
sprayer will work, just plan on using it for only CS.

Here is the first 2 clones I am spraying. I will top these again at around the 2nd node on each arm, but I want the extra
plant material there for the first few days of spraying. This helps to get more surface area for the plant to absorb the CS.
When I spray I try to make sure I cover the entire plant, but not completely saturate it. The other 2 clones of each are just rooted, and I will give them a couple more days before spraying.

After spraying them for a few days I like to mist them with plain water. I do this about every 3-4 days. The plants will have a
discoloration and buildup from the CS treatments, a bronzing or slight greyish color on the leaves is normal here.

There should be no burning or stressing of the plant during the spray process. CS, when done properly does not harm the plant, only a slight discoloration of leaves and such. If there is burning, leaf deformation, or other stress problems, your CS may be too strong or have other impurities causing the stress. Silver colloids penetrate at a molecular level and bond with the plant naturally, suppressing the hormone that produces female flowers (pistils). This will not alter or stress the plant, and will not alter the future offspring.

Keep spraying 2x daily for at least 7 days then flip them over to flower when ready. I like to flip the donor plants at least a week
before flipping the recipient plants. This helps to ensure that there is sufficient pollen production when the recipient plants hit the
crucial week 3 pollinating phase.

Normally I would pollinate only a select few branches, but this round I am seeding the whole plant. A couple friends are going
to compensate me with smoke so the goal here is complete pollination.

I am scrogging a Kosher and Tangie as the pollen recipients. With the even canopy, I should get plenty of seed production throughout the whole plant. Here is the main plants.

I'll post some updates as we progress along here. Peace

Edit: Also, do not consume the CS that you make or the plant material that has been sprayed. Plants that have been pollinated are fine to consume as long as they have not been directly sprayed with CS. Although silver is a potent antibiotic, and consuming small amounts could have health benefits, improper dosage and impure CS could have drastic effects. You do not want to end up looking like this guy!

Many people DO drink colleradal Silver as a health remedy for better health - by the looks of that guy - no thanks !

Yes, people do drink it.

But if you do, stock up on and eat some active culture yogurt a few hours AFTER CS ingestion to keep your tummy's bennys up to snuff. The stuff is antibacterial and that means ALL bacteria so often (daily) gastro-intestinal ingestion is not a good idea although allegorical evidence/experience for occasional ingestion for flus/colds like the OP describes is not uncommon and I can attest to it too (3yrs. w/o cold/flu).

If you want it in your bloodstream (for its most prophylactic effectiveness) look for nebulizers @ Goodwill/Salvation Army/etc. to atomize it and breath it into your lungs. This works similar to the "eating vs. smoking dope" ratios and stretches your brew much longer.

I brew my own but have only used the Tyndall Effect (shine a laser pointer through the CS and use the intensity of the beam you see in the CS as a rough gauge of PPM) though now I have a TDS meter and double checking my 10-15PPM brews that used Tyndall seem dead on.

If you want to brew for any type of personal ingestion I highly recommend using Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins (or wire made from the coins available on eBay) for the easiest/safest/most standard four 9's (.9999) silver purity source.

Argyria <--(link to Papa Smurf poisoning) is caused mostly by silver nitrate and seems to be brewed by using higher impurity (like .99) silver and tap water w/ high nitrates (<--link) which also causes blue baby syndrome (go figure).

On a side note, the FDA considers CS a "controlled substance" (<--link) but recently NASA has adopted CS use for water purification (<--link) on the international space station like the Russians who've been using it for years.

- Back on topic -

Excellent info and exactly what I need.

Grew 3 plants'/strains outdoors this summer and all were F (luckily). So I got a few rounds of cuttings off of them early in flower for the winter indoor grow that have revegged and are now ready to go to flower, but was lost as to what I was going to do to get pure breeding stock of the strains w/o popping more beans and praying for a M (which is REALLY strange!).

Using this method I can not only get pure strain seeds, but do all possible crosses between the strains.

You should package CS up w/ a label that says "Grow some BALLZ!" and sell it on eBay. ;)

Thanks for the info!

I made some CS doing exactly as stated except Iused a 18 volt drill battery that was mostly drained and used 2 .999 coins got a nice grey color after straining and putting some in a spray bottle and the rest in a quart jar and put in fridge.
When I took the spray bottle outside the color changed to a light pink color I sprayed one lower branch a the beginning of stretch and sprayed three times a day for 12 days when buds first started forming, I then made another batch that still turned pink in the sun and sprayed 2 times a day for 12 days....I got nothing I checked the buds everyday and not one ball has formed...any Idea what went wrong????

From what I read that stoneslacker did was:

So if you were spraying when buds were forming it might be that you missed the window of opportunity of 7-10 before flowering.

As to the pink color, I've never seen that before but light (especially intense light like the sun) is not particularly good for CS as it breaks it down. Long term storage suggests keeping it in a brown or blue glass bottle to protect it from light.

HtH!

It was a good 12 days before any pistols started to even show and then 12 days after, when the buds started to show good...I thought perhaps the sun turning the solution pink might have had something to do with it, wish I knew for sure.

Will the CS available premade and ordered online work as well? I have some heirloom clones I would like to preserve and have wondered about using the premade stuff. You can order based on the ppm/ratio.
