ite so i think im gonna do 3.5x3.5x6
everything is bagseeds so its practice

plan on having 2 6" inline fans 1 for the light & 1 for air intake & 2 oscillating fan for air circulation.

how many plants should i keep if i want to use 5 gallon pots ? maybe 4?
Im guessing because of the space i want them to end between 2 & 3 feet.

& ive got a small veg box where i can veg 2 or 3 at a time. what size pots should i veg them in? & how tall should i let them grow? 12 inches? ive got 6" pots wondering if thats fine?

I only want to have to transplant to the 5 gallons at the end of veg ( might let them veg a week under the 600w then switch to 12/12)

Im assuming that's wxdxh dimensions. First off it much more efficient to pull air than push it. I'm also assuming the one inline for the light is pulling through a cooled hood/tube. So I'd double up on exhaust and and pull air from a passive intake. Make the cool hood pull air out from the room too and exhaust both well away from the tent. Preferably outside or in another room. Flowering 600 HPS in a 3.5x3.5 area you may want to just pack a bunch of small plants go for a SOG. 600s a good amount for that space. Growing out 4 big plants and filling the room out to max yield will take a good amount of vegging and train it sounds like you don't have the veg space. I'd pack in 9 3 gal pots and veg 1 month (plants should be about 12 inches untrained by then) straight to flower no training and lollipop the plants so you just get one huge cola each. A 6" pot is probably enough to get you through a month veg but I wouldn't go from a 6" to 5 gallon just to put them straight into flower. Roots barely stretch in flower. 90 percent of roots grow in veg. Just my 2 cents. There's so many options you have. If you have any new ideas you want bounce of me just ask.

Well first it would be easier to advise you if you told me the space and light you have to veg. Veggin under a hps is not a good idea. Pot size totally depends on the area you have to veg. Like I said roots aren't going to stretch too much more after flowering is initiated. I for one usually veg 2 weeks in solos cups, transplant to 8 inch pots and veg 2 more weeks with lst and then flower in that same pot. Rarely have I seen too many roots growing around the outside after harvesting. The 8 inch pots are only about a gallon and a half I'd guess. End up with about a 2 foot plant apon harvest but lstd so only around 13 inches and get an average 1.2 oz off each. I think if you did something similar to this but with no lst and lollipopping, you'd be happy. Pack them in there so you just get a sea of main colas. That just what I'd do. Would be good for you because you wont really need much room to veg and you have the height to let em just stand straight up.

right now ive got a pretty small veg space. with 1 t5 light ( http://www.sunleaves.com/detail.asp?sku=SPJ102 )
1ft 10" height ( highest the light can go )
1ft 4" width ( front to back )
1ft 2" length

how many i should veg at a time ?

maybe 2 weeks solo cups then 2 weeks 6" then 10" 1 week then flower ?

are 6" pots too big to start veg & let it veg for 3-4 weeks? ( i can fit 4 in that area ) then switch to 10" veg under 600w 1 week & flower ?

thx for ya help lol i got too many questions

Yea that's pretty small. 6" would would be fine to start in. Its just that only four small ones when you go to flower its going to have a lot of wasted space. Especially if your just using reg bag seeds and could get males. Can you dim the ballast? If so I'd lst the four dim the light and flower under just like 250 - 400 watts. If you keep em in veg under a hps the budsites stretch. Can lead to them leaning over with the added bud weight. If you got a little more dough you can just x the veg room and add 4-6 cfls to the t5 and veg in the flower tent then just switch to the hps when you want to flower. That t5 isn't enough for much vegging alone. If you pack 9 -12 6 inch pots in there to veg you may end up with an ok amount of females for the 600.
