few quick questions if I may ?

Im putting together my 10 X 10 x 8 room with 4 k lights and was wondering the best way to vent and what size window unit Ac ? Should I have the lights on their own venting circuit or inline with the scrubber on an 8 " fan ?
If I run the lights on their own fan and scrub alone I assume I will need passive or non passive intakes ( how many ) and exhaust which just means more fans and watts ?
All so I assume no matter which route I go I will always be venting AC cooled air out ?
My 5 X 5 room 1200 watts I use passive intake and pull thru the filter and push thru the lights and exhaust out. No AC.
Im waiting for my friend to install my sub panel and the equipment to show up. I can't wait to flip the switch !
I have done some searching and I know this has been asked a million times before but I couldn't really find my answers with the new search system..

first off a 10x10 x 8 .........got yah and u are doing 4 1000k system

i donot think a window shaker AC is the best choice ........if u are going to make this a year time thing have a look into this

summer times it cools winter time u can use it to heat (so does not need to be taken down )

the venting out it is slip that fits into the window ,.............here is the rest of it

since it has a dual port if u take some 6 inch ducting and hook in a Wye joint this will give u exhust for the AC unit and the carbon filter
now your lights u will need to run them in a strait line in pairs of 2

here is the start to ejection point
carbon filter .....ducting........cooltube(hood).........ducting.........cooltube........ducting...........400cfm 6 inch fan...........ducting to the Wye joint and out
or
carbon filter ......ducting........cooltube...........ducting........400cfm fan...........ducting..........cooltube............ducting to the Wye joint and out*** this will the less noise

but no matter what ppl ask it is ac vent point and that is all they smell hear and see
but u will need 2 400cfm 6 inch fans with 2 400cfm carbon filters

that should take care of your smell/cooling/heating.......and exchaning the air out of the room ...............mount the carbon filter high this will remove the warmer air and keep the AC from running all the time ...................the power of them unit i posted is more then strong enough .....a 5000btu would keep a 12x12x7 room cool on a hot summer day (just window shakers are hard to make into ejection point .......it always looks like a 2nd hole that should not be there)

I shouldn't ever have heating problems as the house it's self is climate controlled and I would just have to turn my fan speed down to get more heat from the lights if needed ? The cooling of the lights the house won't keep up with or I would be freezing in another room to cool off the grow room.
I got confused when I read to run my lights on a separate fan system then figured out if I do it this way I would at least have to scrub the separate exhaust going out and run an additional fan so that put me at 2 fans and more holes thru my grow room and attic ceiling .

Is there something wrong with this run ?

Filter - 8" fan, (downsize to 6" ) - ducting - hood - ducting - hood - ducting - hood - ducting - hood - ducting to out . Maybe another 6" fan in the run ?
With passive intakes ?

I have a portable AC but it is single exhaust and I don't think it is big enough . Kinda want something that won't take up floor space ?

yes....passive......but if u want u can controll that too
i turned the 12x12x7 room into what u did except i used tent led lights

i lined the wall with poly sheeting and had it over lap the floor and ceiling by like a foot..........the stuff on the floor tucked under the carpet the stuff on the ceiling i took tape and tacked it up then covered that with IR sheeting ..............i basically sealed off all holes and openings .........in the door to the room (hollow inside door) i added a 12 inch box fan ( and duct taped it in).................my house is centeral air with the way i have it set up in basement leave the dor open cool air floods down here and the fan sucks it in hits a tent and spreads out from there the exhust fans pump it out

as for your run Yes ...............the ducting and the lights u have to rem the air is going to pick up heat.............that set up u told me u have all 4 lights on one ducting system ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so the ejection air coming out is going to very very very hot as in looks like a dryer heat vent ..............this is how we get caugh on Flair

the 2 line with a 400CFM it should only be upper 90s combine that with the portable AC unit window thing and looks like u have a AC running keeping area cool...................rem u are putting in 1000w MH and HPS...............that HPS bulb has alot of Infer Red heat


i am thinking long term for u once u invest in this u want to pull out atleast 10 times the money u did use\.............the amount u can make from this and the heat that it makes will get u noticed.................so u need to remove those things that would allow them to search your place

smell...............where eever u are ejection point is think about planting Jasmine flowers (drug dog blocker) and rosebushes (thorns)
Heat................1000w makes alot u need to mask it ....defuse it ......and cover it up ..............this is the bitch of the one
3 great spots i know to vent from 1 your dryer vent (looks like u are drying clothes) 2 your sewer vent (hot gases excaping out that white pipe in your roof) 3 chimme ( hot air out that is normal as fuck u have a wood burning stove for cooking)

other then that .............IR proofing or insulted ducting

Thanks man. It is always a concern (law) but I don't think Im worried about IR . Im in Cali and have the Recs to cover it. Heck If they haven't knocked on the door yet from my out door grows I don't think they will Bother With IR. The damn helicopter flies over 2-3 times a week. Shit still makes ya paranoid as hell

know how it is ..........i live out with corn feild and shit pits but i still have 7 to 11 coppers going me a week (bio weapon fort camp david and state troopers )
