so i have an exhaust fan that lets light thru, so i want to get a carbon filter to stop the light, not to mention it'll do what its designed for... but i got a cheap budget since ive put maddddd money into this. so ive been doin a lot of research and just looking for the best idea.

my setup is a 1000w HPS with a cooled hood (gets vented out of room) and ive got an inline fan for air intake for the whole room and a inline exhaust for the room aswell, and that is where i want to add the filter. ive also got a dehumidifier for perfect climate... and its my first time doing this

sooo any suggestions on a carbon filter? or light filter?

oh and what the hell is this thing, bug screen?.... http://www.hidhut.com/catalog/bug-screen-p-2520.html

any carbon filter will work fine.. they're all good IMO.

I personally see no reasons for light filters.. as that would be counterproductive (hint hint)

good luck.

peace.

well appreciated man,

quick question tho.. the inline fan is 8" and the 8" filters tend to costy.... so u think i can get like a 6" to 8" adapter then get a 6" filter or something, or know any cheap 8 inch filters?

and it gets setup like this..right?
Filter--->(6" adapter if needed)---> inline fan-----> ducting
