fimming clones

planted clones 2 days ago and i fimmed them today...did i make a mistake and fimmed them to early?

Would help if you had a picture. You give no indication where you cut, size of your clones, even if you have any experience with cloning, fimming or growing.

most people that i have heard who fim do it when the plants around 8" tall.

Pics are needed to give you an accurate answer but generally if the growth tip was developed enough before you FIMmed then its fine.

it was 6 inches tall
