Final Flush on hydroponic system?

This is my first time flowering, so this is still new to me. I'm still a little confused on the final flushing. I started flushing my girls 2 days ago, and I'm wondering how long should i flush for in a hydro system? Is their any benefits from flushing past 14 days? Does it take longer or less time to flush in a hydro system? And do I need to change the resevoir every few days, or can I just keep the same plain water in the system for the full 7-14 day flush. Thanks for the help guys

My boyfriend had to leave and can not be reached at the moment and he left me in charge of the ladies. He changed the res water on a week ago and told me that by day 5 they should be yellowing and ready to receive nutrients. We are using a hydroponic system as well. However, its been 6 full days and I have only noticed a slight and I mean slight yellowing of one plants leaves. Is it cool if I just leave them in regular old water for a bit until they start to yellow more? You stated that you were planning on flushing them for 7-14 days so maybe I will be fine? I feel like if the leaves are not yellow yet, they may not have flushed enough out. Let me know what you find out. And if nothing else, we can try and talk to each other although I am not sure how much help I can be.

10 days should be enough for a hydrosystem... I would change the water halfway thru...

just empty your resevoir out.. clean it out really good to make sure there isn't any nutrient residue left behind. Now that you've done that.. just simply put some pH adjusted water into the resevior(spell-check?). All you have to do.. (I think.. I personally use soil not hydro) is use fresh water in the resevior for the last 2 weeks to a week before you plan on harvesting.

Once again, I don't use the hydroponics method.. I'm just an old school soil grower. ;)

Good luck though.

peace.
